It's the last day in October - Halloween - and we're wrapping up the best rebates and incentives available this month on new cars and trucks.  Most of these deals extend to at least the first week of November, which means you'll have the weekend to take advantage of these exceptional prices.

The first vehicle on our list is the 2013 Ford Explorer mid-size SUV, which features the choice between zero percent financing or $2,000 in cash back.  Next up is the 2013 Toyota Camry mid-size sedan and it's $2,000 cash back offer, followed by the 2013 Kia Rio subcompact sedan and its available 0.9% financing or $500 in factory cash rebates.  The 2013 Dodge Charger full-size sedan provides the option of 0.0% financing or a respectable $2,500 in cash back, while the 2014 Jeep Compass compact SUV wraps things up with its 0.9% financing or $1,500 cash back offer.

November heralds a fresh month of rebates and incentives on brand new vehicles, so make sure to check this space again next week as we bring you a new bargain round-up.

2013 Ford Explorer

The 2013 Ford Explorer presents families with a people mover that's styled after rugged-looking SUVs but drives much more like a smooth crossover.  The Ford Explorer can seat up to seven passengers, and it can also haul as much as 80 cubic feet of cargo with the rear rows out of the picture.

There are three different engine options on offer with the 2013 Ford Explorer.  The base 3.5-liter V-6 generates 290 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque, while the twin-turbo 3.5-liter six-cylinder found in the Explorer Sport ups the ante to 365 horses and 360 lb-ft torque.  In between sits a 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder that is good for 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.  It's also the most frugal of the trio, posting 20-mpg in city driving and 28-mpg on the highway.  All versions of the Explorer come with a six-speed automatic transmission, and the six-cylinder editions are also eligible for all-wheel drive.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $2,000 cash back on the 2013 Ford Explorer available until 01/02/2014.

2013 Toyota Camry

The 2013 Toyota Camry continues to pull in legions of mid-size sedan buyers thanks to its all-around performance.  A roomy interior is complemented by a solid list of standard and optional features, and the Toyota Camry is also one of the most reliable cars on the road.

The 2013 Toyota Camry is initially outfitted with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 178 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque.  Fuel mileage for this motor is listed at 25-mpg in city driving and 35-mpg on the highway.  A more robust 3.5-liter V-6 (268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque) is also on-hand as an option.  Both versions of the Camry are outfitted with a six-speed automatic transmission.

There is an incentive of $2,000 cash back on the 2013 Toyota Camry available until 11/04/2013.

2013 Kia Rio

The 2013 Kia Rio is an affordable subcompact sedan that is stylish and well-trimmed considering its low MSRP.  The Kia Rio can also be equipped with the UVO voice-controlled vehicle interface for added technological flair.

The 2013 Kia Rio is available exclusively with a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine under the hood.  This motor produces 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque, and it offers the choice between either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.  Fuel mileage for the Rio - when ordered with its available EX Eco package - shows as 30-mpg in stop and go driving and 36-mpg on the highway.

There is an incentive of 0.9% financing or $500 cash back on the 2013 Kia Rio available until 11/04/2013.

2013 Dodge Charger

The 2013 Dodge Charger is a full-size car that can double as a comfy family cruiser or a performance-oriented muscle machine.  The latter version of the Dodge Charger is found in the R/T trim, which adds bigger brakes, a tighter suspension system, and numerous other upgrades to the four-door automobile.

The 2013 Dodge Charger starts out with a 3.6-liter V-6, which provides 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.  When ordered with its available eight-speed automatic transmission (in place of the base model's five-speed autobox), the 3.6-liter mill returns fuel mileage of 19-mpg in city driving and 31-mpg on the highway.  The Charger's 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 significantly improves performance by way of its 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque, output which is managed by a five-speed automatic tranny.  All-wheel drive can be outfitted to both six and eight-cylinder editions of the Dodge sedan.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $2,500 cash back on the 2013 Dodge Charger available until 11/04/2013.

2014 Jeep Compass

The 2014 Jeep Compass compact SUV is known more for its urban exploits (five passenger capacity, 62.7 cubic feet of total cargo space) than its off-road credibility.  That being said, the Jeep Compass does feature a trail rating when ordered with the Freedom Drive II Off-Road package, which installs a number of extra features to help handle tough terrain.

The 2014 Jeep Compass is four-cylinder-only, with its entry-level 2.0-liter unit producing 158 horsepower and 141 lb-ft of torque and returning fuel mileage of 23-mpg in city driving and 30-mpg on the highway.  A 2.4-liter mill is also available to boost acceleration via its 172 horses and 165 lb-ft of twist.  Transmission choices for the Compass include a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic, and two four-wheel drive systems (one of which is paired with a continuously-variable automatic transmission) are also offered with the SUV.

There is an incentive of 0.9% financing or $1,500 cash back on the 2014 Jeep Compass available until 11/04/2013.
