President's Day might be over, but the rebates and incentives on new cars and new trucks linger on until the very end of the month.  Kicking things off is the 2013 Nissan Maxima full-size sedan, which offers the choice between either zero percent financing plus $500 cash back, or $3,500 in total cash rebates.  Next up is the 2014 Ford Escape compact crossover and its 0.0% percent financing plus $1,000 cash back offer, or an available $2,500 in factory cash, followed by the 2014 Lincoln MKZ mid-size sedan and its zero percent financing incentive plus $1,000 in cash back.  The 2013 Hyundai Accent subcompact car features $1,000 in factory cash, and the last entry on our list, the 2014 Chevrolet Traverse full-size crossover, provides either 0.0% financing or $1,500 in cash back.

There's still one more week left in February, which gives you a window into a world of savings as President's Day deals continue.  Check back with us next week for our final look at February's bargains.

2014 Ford Escape

The 2014 Ford Escape is a compact crossover that drives much more like a small sedan than a bulky truck.  The Ford Escape also offers features like the MyFord Touch vehicle interface and the option of an automated parking system, and it can seat as many as five passengers as well as haul up to 68.1 cubic feet of cargo.

The 2014 Ford Escape starts out with a 168 horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood, which can be upgraded to a 1.6-liter, turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder unit that generates 178 horsepower.  The top-tier Escape is equipped with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is good for 240 horses and 270 lb-ft of twist.  Fuel mileage for the 1.6-liter leads the way with a rating of 23-mpg city and 33-mpg highway, and while all versions of the Escape come with a six-speed automatic transmission, only the turbo motors can be matched with the option of all-wheel drive.
