April's warmer weather is helping to light a fire under automakers to bring a fresh batch of rebates and incentives on new cars and new trucks.  This week we kick things off with the 2014 Ford Flex full-size crossover and its offer of zero percent financing or $1,500 cash back, followed by the 2014 Nissan Sentra compact sedan and its choice between 0.0% financing plus $500 cash back or $1,000 in total cash rebates.  The 2014 Lincoln Navigator full-size SUV provides zero percent financing plus $1,000 in factory cash back, while the 2014 Toyota Camry mid-size sedan delivers an offer of 0.0% financing or $1,500 in cash back.  Rounding out our list is the 2014 Kia Optima mid-size sedan and its Camry-matching zero percent financing or $1,500 in cash incentives.

Make sure to check this space again next week when we return with even more rebates and incentives on brand new vehicles designed to help you save money on your next car purchase.

2014 Ford Flex

The 2014 Ford Flex offers retro-wagon styling in a modern crossover package.  Capable of seating up to seven passengers, the Ford Flex also provides enough cargo room to haul up to 83 cubic feet worth of gear.

The 2014 Ford Flex is initially outfitted with a 3.5-liter V-6 that has been tuned to provide 287 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque.  Matched with a six-speed automatic transmission, this unit delivers fuel mileage of 18-mpg in city driving and 25-mpg on the highway.  Stepping up to the available EcoBoost drivetrain introduces all-wheel drive (optional with the base motor) and a twin-turbocharged version of the same 3.5-liter, six-cylinder engine.  Total output for the Flex with EcoBoost is 365 horses and 350 lb-ft of torque.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $1,500 cash back on the 2014 Ford Flex available until 07/07/2014.

2014 Nissan Sentra

The 2014 Nissan Sentra presents compact sedan shoppers with one of the largest rear seats - and tallest ceilings - in the segment.  The Nissan Sentra is also priced to be an affordable small car option and is tuned to deliver a comfortable ride.

The 2014 Nissan Sentra is motivated exclusively by a 130 horsepower, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine.  Also capable of providing 128 lb-ft of torque, the Sentra's motor is shifted via either a six-speed manual or a continuously-variable automatic transmission.  The latter allows the vehicle to turn in fuel mileage of 30-mpg in stop and go driving and 40-mpg during highway cruising.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing plus $500 or $1,500 total cash back on the 2014 Nissan Sentra available until 04/30/2014.

2014 Lincoln Navigator

The 2014 Lincoln Navigator is a traditional luxury SUV that makes full use of its big bones to deliver exceptional practicality.  In addition to offering eight passenger accommodations across three rows of seating, the Lincoln Navigator can also transport as much as 128 cubic feet of cargo (when ordered in extended-wheelbase L trim) or tow up to 9,000 lbs of trailer weight.

The 2014 Lincoln Navigator features a 5.4-liter V-8 under the hood.  Rated at 310 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, this eight-cylinder mill is matched with a six-speed automatic transmission and can also benefit from the addition of optional four-wheel drive.  Fuel mileage for the Navigator shows as 14-mpg around town and 20-mpg on the highway.

2014 Toyota Camry

The 2014 Toyota Camry is a top mid-size sedan choice, as its comfortable ride and spacious interior are prized by commuters, families, and fleet companies alike.  The Toyota Camry has also developed a reputation for reliability, which contributes to its strong resale value.

The 2014 Toyota Camry starts out with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 178 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque, while offering up fuel mileage of 25-mpg in city driving and 35-mpg during highway cruising.  The Camry is also offered with a 3.5-liter V-6 that is good for 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque.  Each of these engines comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $1,500 cash back on the 2014 Toyota Camry available until 05/05/2014.

2014 Kia Optima

The 2014 Kia Optima aims for the same crowd as the Camry, but this mid-size sedan's primary weapons are its attractive styling inside and out as well as its strong dollars-to-features ratio.  The Kia Optima maximizes value by making a number of features available at its various trim levels at a more attractive price than many of its rivals.

The 2014 Kia Optima's 2.4-liter, four-cylinder base engine delivers 192 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, while its next-step-up 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder churns out 274 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of twist.  The larger engine's fuel mileage is the better of the two, listed at 23-mpg in city driving and 34-mpg on the highway, and each version of the car makes use of a six-speed automatic transmission.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $1,500 cash back on the 2014 Kia Optima available until 05/05/2014.
