New SX Limited Range-topper Also Debuts
2015 kia sedona
Wearing a bold new design inspired by the brand's aggressively styled crossover lineup, the 2015 Kia Sedona is on its way to dealerships now with an MSRP that starts at $25,900—the exact same starting point as for the 2014 model.
Now, as previous-generation readers may recall, GM tried something like this with its final series of minivans, but the transformation to the 2015 Kia Sedona has been much more successful thanks to some key design cues: First off, the nearly-upright grille and, just below it, the "grimace" design of the lower-intake area combine for a very un-minivan-like face. Additionally, a noticeably rear-sloping roof gives the 2015 Kia Sedona a distinctive silhouette for the segment, while a sudden upward shift in the vehicle's beltline, right at the C-pillar, further injects some visual dynamism to the picture. Shorter overhangs, LED accent lights and taillights, and a standard roof-mounted spoiler don't hurt, either.
As explained by Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning for Kia Motors America: "The all-new Sedona is the final model to undergo Kia’s design-led transformation under the direction of chief design officer Peter Schreyer. Beneath the strong lines is a vehicle designed for today’s active lifestyles with more power than the previous Sedona, a longer wheelbase for improved legroom and unique seating configurations, including available ‘First Class’ second-row seats. Combined with intuitive technology and safety, the Sedona brings new levels of sophistication to a segment that’s been filled with bland and predictable practicality.”

Also available packing just about all of these features into one new flagship model—the 2015 Kia Sedona SX Limited—the Sedona roster is expected to reach dealerships during the fall of 2014.
