61 Percent Of Hybrids Sold In California Are Toyotas
In not-so-surprising news (especially if you live there), 61 percent of hybrids sold in California are Toyotas. According to the automaker, six of out of ten hybrids sold in California are from Toyota. One of out of every two is wearing a Prius nameplate. Registration data from R.L. Polk shows that through May, Californians bought five times more Toyota hybrids than its closest competitor, Ford.
