The Lancer is a good rider. It is smooth and has a great appeal to it. It reaks of Japaneese, but I suppose for quality reasons(that's a good thing)! Many other compacts such as the Lancer are extremely comparable when it comes to braking, handling, and steering. However, the Lancer has the edge on styling and reliability. That's why I got the Lancer. -

Pros: Power, Rommy, Fun to drive
Cons: Too simple, wish for 8 speaker system
Advice: Its a good buy. Good warranty.
Smooth ride. Sqeakless and very powerful. Great on gas consumption. Nice handling for a compact. Styling is great exterior/interior. Rommy and airy. Needs more headroom. They are getting very popular now. Colours are great as well. -
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer - OZ Rally (M5)
Pros: Good Brakes, Superb Handling, Smooth and noise-free ride.
Cons: umm, the only thing I can think of is the small rear seat area(which I don't need). Oh, there was a waiting list for the Lancer OZ.
Advice: Get the 17' wheels with it. The upgrade gives the car so much better cornering abilities.
The OZ edition is excellent. It drives very nice. Handling is the best as I can almost connect to the car with every movement. The acceleration is average. Braking is good and the interior styling is nice/clean. White instruments gauges are very sporty. Get the leather seating option. The comfort is average but the exterior styling is radical. It resembles a Lexus IS. Features and accecories is very good for the price. The Lancer has a great kick from acceleration and its pick-up is amazing. -

Cons: The back seat is way too small.
Advice: I totally reccomend it!
The Lancer is a solid car. Even though it does not have the power of a german sports sedan, it does still have very good features and its ride is smooth and comfortable. It is good on gas. Get the option from your dealer/manager to put in leather seats and 16' Mitsubishi rims with ZR tires. My best friend has a Audi A4 1.8T and in many occasions/areas, our cars are extremely comparable. The only difference is mine is about $8000 less. Oh, and get it in 'midnight black'. -

Advice: better than all the rest. get the OZ 17 ' trade in wheels.
GOT THE BEST COMPACT OUT THERE! My friends envby my car and its colour(yellow). i put in a cold air intake and put on 17 inch 0Z rims. The car looks fly. Buy it. It drives smooth and the performance is solid and brakes work well. The Lancer is much better than the Civic, Jetta and Protoge.
