    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

    Pros: the whole car

    Cons: nothing at all

Advice: Make sure your sales person explains everything your milan has to offer.

I fell in love with this car the minute i sat in it. Im 21 and have 2 babies so i wanted to have the room and saftey features i needed, but i still wanted the sporty look...Milan offered everything i was looking for. The premium cloth is awesome. The interior and exterior is dynamic and very distinctive. If you are looking for something different and upscale the Mercury Milan is the way to go! I'm extremely happy.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

Pros: precision styling and amazing comfort

Cons: transmission and the reverse visibility (I'm 5'-8' and can't see hardly anything)

Advice: test drive one, tell your friends and neighbors to do the same...

I bought a brand new Fusion S, decided that I didn't like the ugly grille and the lack of features. Saw a Milan Premier in the lot, perfect color/options combinations, so I traded for it. The car has 15k on it (my Fusion has 4k), but the heated leather seats, moonroof, and rims made up for those extra 11,000 miles. Adaptive Transmission really made me HATE the automatic after getting rid of the 5-speed manual... they tell me that the thing will eventually get used to me and will shift when I want it to. Note: the transmission has only L and D, no 2nd gear or OD lockout! I'm thinking about trading up to a 5-speed pretty soon...

    2006 Mercury Milan - V6 Premier (130A)

Pros: Interior I/E seats, stereo overall ease of driving

Cons: Nothing, really(maybe a little more power, perhaps, but still not bad)

Advice: Test drive it as well as other comparable makes. I think you'll be surprised.

We were planning on the '07 model next spring, but 0% financing for 72mo. was clincher. Test drove several models from GM & Ford. Prefer domestics, so didn't really test others except Honda Accord(nice, but too much road noise)I don't like the thought of changing 'Timing Belts' in the future(an expensive issue with most Asian cars) Driving car has been most pleasant. Currently also have '99 Mystique LS. Milan is much more refined & luxurious. Mystique is better on real 'twisty' roads, mainly due to it's smaller size. Friends don't worry about back seat in Milan, as it's quite roomy. As for future improvements..most occur in '07 AWD, Navigation system. Have tried those & they're worth it. Would like HID lights/3.5 engine as options(perhaps'08??)As I said 0% financing was the clincher. If they offer it in late '07 I guess I'll kick myself for not waiting. If 3.5 engine had been in Montego, that would have been my true choice.

    2006 Mercury Milan - V6 Premier (130A)

Pros: 6 CD Changer with MP3 feature. Allows me to put over 100 songs on each CD.

    Cons: None

    Advice: Get the V-6.

Purchased the V6 Premier with all available options. Excellent all around. Cost me $7,000 less then a less equiped Accord. Guys - get this car. Has great pickup and good highway speeds. And with the 17' tires handles like a sports car.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 (100A)

Pros: Handling and Front End appearance

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: Try the 5 speed. You will love it!

We leased an I4 with the 5 speed manual transmission. We live in the mountains of North Carolina near Asheville and the Milan has been a blast to drive. Plenty of power and an excellent transmission. The handling of this vehicle on curvy mountain roads is supurb. The trunk has plenty of room when you are on a trip. We are averaging 28 miles per gallon. With about 7000 miles on the car quality still looks excellent.

    2006 Mercury Milan - I4 Premier (110A)

Pros: The two-tone leather interior and terrific MP3 player.

    Cons: At this point, nothing.

Advice: Just take it for a spin, it sells it's self.

The Milan drives as dynamic as it looks. The finish quality, power train, suspension, brakes and interior and sound system, are all, above average. My Wife and I find excuses to get in and drive this car. The Milan I-4 AT has achieved 22.7 mpg in town and as high as 35 mpg on the highway. We can’t believe the amount of automobile, we purchased for the money. I can’t wait to see what the fuel economy will be, when we finally break the engine in!

    2006 Mercury Milan - V6 (120A)

    Pros: V6 Engine Performance.

Cons: Limited rear visability through the rear window.

    Advice: Give it a drive.

I wanted a slightly larger vehicle than my 1994 Audi 90CS, and test drove a Honda Accord, Ford Fusion, Pontiac G6 and Hyundai Sonata before settling on the Milan. It was a tough choice for me between the V6 Sonata and the Milan, but the styling of the Milan and the handling won me over. The local dealer also offered me a better lease deal than the Hyundai dealer did. And the Milan hasn't disappointed me yet. I am amazed that the car has such fantastic performance and still returns over 24 miles per gallon on my mixed drive to work. It's much more comfortable than my previous car and certainly more quiet. What a great stereo... and it's the standard one besides.
