    2005 Mercury Mariner

    Small suv

    Pros: Moonroof

    Cons: Size is too small

After driving an Isuzu Rodeo this vehicle seemed too small. It handles very nicely and rides well. Like the looks, but wish it was just a little longer and wider.

    2005 Mercury Mariner - Premier (330A) 4x4

    Pros: The throttle response

Cons: The wheels, I went out and purchased some 5 spoke chrome wheels and it set the looks on fire.

Advice: My advice is buy it and buy some chrome wheels, you'll love it even more.

I went for a test drive and in a couple of miles decided to buy it. I love the handling, comfort, throttle respose and defiently the style.I've owned explorers,a kia sportage, dodge ram,f-150,ranger and this by far is my favorite of all.

Well,After driving chrysler mini vans for 14 years I bought my wife a Mariner. She loves it! Interior detail is great,Exterior is very nice without the off road look of the Ford Escape.Runs great but could have a little more pep with the 6 cylinder.Ford employee pricing with $1,500 rebate was a purchase I coundn't resist.

    2005 Mercury Mariner - Convenience (100A) FWD

Pros: The enterior and low price! :)

Cons: The keyless entry keychain remote could be a bit more original! =)

Advice: Test drive and buy the Mariner

We were set on getting a Mazda Tribute or Ford escape, but my husband and I took one look at the very sleek and classy Mariner and we were hooked. The interior and exterior looks very expensive, but the Mariner isn't at all expensive. Definetly consider buying a Mariner. You get more quality and car for your money. :)

My wife just loves this little SUV. The V6 is very responsive and the interior makes you fell like your riding in high class luxury.

    2005 Mercury Mariner - Convenience (300A) 4x4

    Pros: Design

    Cons: seat width

    Advice: Worth the test drive

I'm a big guy and needed a car with headroom. This one fits the bill. Love the exterior design and roominess of the interior. Front seats are a bit narrow, but comfortable overall. CD stereo is excellent for a base vehicle. Nice list of standard features. Four cylinder is peppy and gets decent mileage (avg. 23-24 combined driving). Low insurance premium rates a plus. Worth the test drive!
