I change oil every 3000 and the oil is still clean when I take it out.I have penty of leg room and comfort. I feel my family is safe in this car. The new 2003 Grand Marquis LS Ultimate has every thing I need including Leather , adjustable petals rear air ride and traction control. I also got the heated seats and side airbags

Advice: enjoyHandles great and really is anice road car. Appoinments are outstanding
Pros: Improved handling and steering
Cons: 2003 Feel to much of the bumps in road
Advice: Don't buy a 2003 model, wait until 2004Not a test drive. Actually purchsed 2003 Grand Marquis. Stopped in middle of busy highway with only 400 miles on car. Had to be towed to dealership. All warning lights came on. Was told two days later that it was a new for 2003 'EGR value'failure. After 6 trips to dealership, motor still not right, quivers when idling. Poor upholstery. Cons: placement of the seat controls
Advice: check for engine noiseAfter driving the car for a week a noise developed in the engine. Took it back to the dealer who ran tests on it and found everything to be normal...except they hear the noise but have no idea what is wrong. They called Ford and apparently they are aware there is a problem with the engine. Ford is sending a new engine to be installed. There is a problem with one piston, 3 out of 4 2003 Grand Marquis on the lot are making the same noise.
