The 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC is the fastest version of the biggest, most expensive coupe in the German automaker’s stable.  An absolutely gorgeous full-size two-door that replaces the CL63 AMG, the S63 AMG 4MATIC debuts many firsts for brand.  With turbocharged power, all-wheel drive, and an all-seeing ‘magic’ suspension system, the new high performance S-Class coupe defines exclusivity and pushes technology forward as much as the S-Class sedan.

Much of what is on offer with the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe has already been seen on the four-door S63.  Namely, the vehicles share the same 5.5-liter biturbo V-8 (577 horses and 664 lb-ft of torque), seven-speed automatic transmission, and 4MATIC all-wheel drive system (which features a 33/67 front/rear torque split).  This is a sizable boost over the CL63 AMG and it combines with a 140 lb weight reduction to create a car that accelerate to 60-mph in just 3.9 seconds.  Also in the cards with the coupe: a variation on Mercedes-Benz’s Magic Body Control system that can tilt the car’s AIRMATIC air suspension to better hold the road in a corner.  Upgraded brakes are also on hand to haul things down to a reasonable speed should local law enforcement take notice of your shenanigans.

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC is a stunning full-size luxury coupe with an overwhelming amount of bark.  The car makes a statement even when its standing still, although we find it hard to believe that anyone will be able to keep their right foot off of the pedal for too long once behind the wheel of this monster.  Expect the S63 AMG 4MATIC to re-establish the S-Class coupe’s cred amongst the uber-wealthy – and make the rest of us wish we’d studied harder at tycoon college.
