  2007 Mercedes-Benz S-Class - S 550 RWD Sedan

  Pros: Night Assist

  Cons: column shifter - perferm gear lever on the ground.

  Advice: Make sure you can pay the fuel bills - this car ain't easy on fuel. Fuel must be super plus.

  I have a 207 MB S550 with almost all the options ecept distronic plus, and added AMG 20 inch wheels from S65. The ride quality is excellent even on the 20 inch wheels. Handling is also very good but the steering needs a bit more weight in my opinion. quality and fit and finish is perfect. Interior materials are best in class and the design is quite good, although I feel the Audi A8 is a bit more stylish inside. Exterior styling is good - but I feel the Audi A8 is prettier in this department too. Overall this car rides better than all of its rivals (including new Lexus Ls), handles as well as the benchmark Audi A8, and has superior fit and finish than any other vehicle whatever the price (I think its better built than Bentley Flying Spur. ) The Audi A8 may look better inside and outside and also has excellent quality but the Merc outshines it in ride comfort, features, and fit and finish.
