Our Mazda in 5 years has still not been in the shop! We have the 4 cyl and it has plenty of power and gets great mileage. Also, the fit and finish is perfect.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

Pros: space, handling, ride, styling, being able to see all around the SUV
Cons: price
I started out with the 626 and was very pleased.Traded for the Mazda 6, supurbe handling and perfrormance. Then I bought the Tribute sport 4 door. Don't think I will ever buy another kind anless it is changed in a way ro reduce performance- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

ROAD NOISE BAD BAD BAD

Cons: Lack Mazda support,MPG,ROAD NOISE
This SUV looks good , but that is where it ends. The road noise is so bad you can't TALK or hear the RADIO. Dealer said it was the tires. WE put on the quitest tire Bridgestone makes at 10,000 miles no help at the cost $600 out of my Hipocket.Tire Alignment was off from start with pulling to left and tire wear. at 5000 miles. Again I had to pay. Dealer said noise was wind noise and we took the rack off the top no help. MPG REAL BAD city 15 road 17. THE FORD ESCAPE is the same car and had same problems. Parts are hard to get. Just so you I am ASE MEC and oversaw the maintance on 80,000 units over 45 years in manintance- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? No

2001 Mazda Tribute
Good versatile AWD vehicle
Pros: Moonroof
Cons: Fuel economy
I've owned two of the Escape/Tribute twins now, and enjoyed both. They have reasonable performance (3.0L V6), good utility, a manageable size, and with the AWD model, drive well in snow. With kids the size is small for vacation including luggage, so I'm considering a CX-9 for my next vehicle.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2003 Mazda Tribute - LX V6 (A4) 4x4
Pros: The all leather interior and built in 6CD changer.
Cons: Nothing
Advice: They are a great 'small' SUV
I originally wanted a CRV or Rav 4, but because of the price I decided to go with the Tribute, and the Tribute is more spacious than both the CRV and the Rav 4. Once I sat in the seat I knew I was getting it, I got an awesome internet speacial, it was the end of the month and the dealership was making space for the 2007 models, I got a great deal, I got it fully loaded , leather interior, moonroof, everything. It feels like I'm driving a car and it's easy to park. -
2006 Mazda Tribute - i (A4) FWD
Pros: cruise control ..easy to find and use
Cons: visor is too short when used to block side sun
Advice: has spent no time in shop during first year unlike my friend's Hyundai
Plenty of pickup....great mileage....i have the v-6 and get 30 highway and 22 city... good head room... amazing sound system.. plenty of carry room... ignition should be higher on the column..keys bump the knee...
