I love this car
Pros: The speed and torque this little car has
Cons: It should look more like a sports car.Very fast, great control. the sound system is amazing. This is a great little car
first car purchase.. not happy
Pros: interior and great pickup
Cons: power steering noise and the dealership service.this is my first car purchase with my hard earn money. three months of owning this car, i had to take it to the shop three times. my power steering light came on and lost my steering while i was driving. the dealership could not find anything wrong and now i hear very loud hissing/humming noise. they said its a normal sound but i hear it inside the car and outside. it is so loud and annoying. i am planning to sale this car in several months. only had the car for five months now. not happy
I love this car
Pros: the look and feel of the car
Cons: nothingno major problems at all.
Cons: tires, not good in snowgood looking and good gas mil. overall a good means of transportation
Pros: handling, 33-35 mpg, and excellent looks
Cons: carpet, seats need updated to better qualityGreat looks. Paint is excellent quality/ Holds up great in Arizona sun where most paints fade quickly. Excellent gas mileage. Consistently 33 - 35 mpg on freeway. Handling is surprisingly precise with little to no body roll. No mechanical issues at all with 61,000 on odometer. Interior carpet and seats are of fair quality but for price of vehicle I thought they seem a little 'cheap'. Overall I would buy another.
A driver's car
Cons: The radioThis car is a winner for me. It goes ike stink, handles well, has tremedoius brakes, with virtually no suspension pitch when braking hard or taking evasive action. The stearing is a little low geared, but there's plenty of feel for the road. I average about 22.5 mpg, good for a car the hits 60 mph in just over 6 secs. If that bothered me, I'd have gone for the 4 cylinder. The manual overide gearbox is a must for me, especially when negotoiating bends and snow. It works well, but is a little slow to react. The blind-spot warning system when pulling out to overake is brilliant. Minuses: The radio is appalling, there is no middle range. There are no fresh air vents for rear passengers, and it's claustophobic inside due to the shape. I gave quality 4/5 becasue in the 13 months and 11,000 miles I have it, the automatic windows don't work correctly when the temperature is hot, and the front bumper has become detached from the body, only about 1/8th of an inch, but that's not good enough. Otherwise, it's plusses all the way. I would buy another, it's heaps better to drive than the Camry, Accord and Altima, Don't waste your cash on a fancy German overpriced/overrated car, try this first, and give the difference in money to your local animal charity!
Pros: handling, fit and finish
Cons: the seat is not comfortable to meI sell BMW's and have driven them for many years. I have decided, because I am planning to retire soon, to buy a car and not lease anymore. I drove many cars, and found that the Mazda 3 is a wonderful car for the money. It does not feel like a cheap car, and handles as well as any BMW I have driven. It does not have the power of the 3 series BMW, but it does just fine on the roads. It corners and handles so well. And, the steering is so much easier than the BMW, that cannot turn a corner or make a u turn without two hands on the wheel. And, of course the gas mileage, using regular gas as opposed to high test for the BMW is so much better.
