Mazdaspeed did a fantastic job with the 6. It is a comfortable commuter that is easy to manage in traffic, but is also a huge amount of fun whenever you need some zoom zoom. The driving position is great, the handling is outstanding and it always feels solid, even when pushed hard. The clutch and 6-speed manual are superb and the car has had zero problems in almost 50K miles. It is simply the best car I've ever driven when going from 50-80 (ie. passing). The main drawbacks to this car is the somewhat noisy cabin when on the highway and the gas mileage, which has seldom exceeded 23 or 24 mpg. Still awesome given the performance.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

Be clear what you are purchasing!!!! This is a high performance vehicle. The tires were worn after 15k miles and replacement tires are expensive and selections are very limited. The car requires 93 octane gas and trust me, you will notice if you use low grade gasoline. Mine has been in the shop for a cronic emissions valve issue (replaced 4 x). I can't be all negative as I truely enjoy the ride. It has a sleek look. It has jump in all six gears (throw it in 5th and romp on it on the highway). I have enjoyed it so far. -

car drives great. very quick off the line. seats are comfy, doors make a nice sound when closing (showing quality). trunk space is just fine. the people who complain about that are way too picky. I love the car in every way. If these people are so picky about it, then why did they buy it? -

Advice: Drive this vehicle two to three times it sells itself...

I am 32 years old and have a wife and newborn at home. The car is alot of fun when I am by myself. It handles great and has power to spare. It's quiet in the cabin with a great stereo. There is also plenty of room for a car seat. The best of both worlds as far as I am concerned. -

Pros: Road handling is very good and the expensive tires that come with it may have something to do with that.
Cons: No auto transmission is available.
Advice: I do miss not having the rear seats fold down to give more trunk space. Also I miss an auto transmision.
It drives very nice, like a sports car, sort of. Cornering is is very good with it's 4 wheel drive. Although fast it is smoth and comfortable.
