Good Enough!
Pros: Power and Handling
Cons: Rough ride but you would expect that in a sports car.
The car lives up to the performance line very well. Good acceleration, handling and looks. Mine suffered from numerous warranted repairs from the get go. Two new starters, a new air conditioner and two throttle body replacements in the first four years of ownership. It now has 63,000 miles and is out of warranty. I'm a little concerned!!!!!- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

Pros: Stylish exterior and great power.
Cons: The back seat could have a little more room.
Advice: Test drive other cars as well, but its hard to say no to the Mazda6
I love this car!! Its got a sexy look to it, aggressive power under the hood and drives/handles like a dream. I got a 4 cylinder manual transmission along with all of the bells and whistles and I have never looked back. I have owned this car for a month and I still continue to crack a smile every time I get behind the wheel. The car is extremely responsive and hugs corners like no other car in its price range. I test drove several other cars, but they simply did not match up to what Mazda could offer. Get a Mazda6 if you really want to have fun driving! -

Bought a 2007 Mazda 6 GT V6 in June 2007.. this car is an absolute piece of garbage. The transmission stinks, the car has no pick up, it jerks on gear changes, the quality and workmanship of the car inside and out is horrendous. The car has been in the shop 5 times in 2 months, I am on my 2nd rim and 3rd tire in the front. I bought the car with 2 defective rims. The service from the dealer in Toronto has been well below par, as has Mazda Canada. I want a refund. I will never buy another Mazda again. A terrible car and a terrible experience! -

Cons: They no longer offer the package I got. They changed the models available. I'd have to get a Speed6 to get what I want IF I had to replace my car.
Advice: Buy it, you won't regret it!
I got this car in September, 2006. I typically get bored with cars quickly, but I still get a smile on my face when I drive my Mazda. It drives like a dream, not to mention it's sexy. My husband just purchased a Speed3. IF I ever had to replace my 6 sport I would get a Speed6. Mazda has taken my breath away with these cars. I love them, we are definately a loyal Mazda family! -

Advice: Drive the 4 cylinder as well as the 6.
I think that the 07 Mazda6 is a great car for the money. I purchased the 2.3L 4 cylinder i Sport Value Package with the manual transmission. I enjoy the convenience of an automatic, but the manual seemed to have a noticeable amount of 'pep' to it when comparing the two. It drives like a true sports car, yet glides over the terrain similar to a full size sedan. I owned an 01' Honda Accord EX V6 that was probably the best car I'd ever owned, but I have absolutely zero complaints since purchasing the Mazda. The only thing I might give a sure upper hand in, is that fact that Mazda claims there is as much room as an Accord and I found that to be misleading. You can comfortably seat 5 in the Mazda, but it sure doesn't feel as large as the Accord. Other than that, I'd say the Mazda6 is a car that you can enjoy if you're a family man/gal but still wanna 'zoom, zoom' from time to time. It's a fun car to drive.
