Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: Most definately the handling
Cons: Seats are kinda hard
Advice: I would buy one but get it with the leather seats
The performance is all about zoom, zoom, zoom. First year Mazda6 sport is everything they said it should be. I have never had a car that is this much fun to drive. The comfort is lacking in the seats though, could have improved in that area. The turn around radus is a little on the short side as well, but the handling and the power makes up for all that is bad. The styling of the outside of the car, is an eye turner. I get alot of comments of how much people love my car. I bought it brand new in 2003 and wouldn't trade it for no other.Pros: Looks and design both in and out.
Cons: Lack of raw power
Advice: Test drive it and get it.
Been driving one for a year now and I have no major problems whatsoever. The ride is smooth and the car feels light when you gas it compared to my heavy mustang. The kit serves no purpose except for looks so I didn't get one, cost too much. Spoiler dramatically enhances looks. Much better then Camry, price/quality wise. The back looks like an Acura TSX at night.Pros: steering wheel mounted controls
Cons: radio air condition display
Advice: go for the 5-door
The 6s 5-door had plenty of room and great seats. Being a high school football player with broad shoulders I find it difficult to find a comfortable seating position in most cars. This was not the case in the six. Power and road handling were great, and i picked up the car the day after the test drive.Pros: drive and looks.
Cons: Doesn't have standard side airbags.
Advice: Buy it.
Excellent drive and super fast pickup.Pros: Fun to drive
Cons: Rear seat fold-down releases in trunk-only should be trunk-and-inside cabin.
Advice: Show internet for best price and BUY.
Wonderful car... we bought the 4 cyl, 5sp manual. High 'fun to drive' quotient. The V6 was even more fun, but not worth the mileage penalty for a daily driver. Fit and finish are excellent and the styling speaks for itself. This is a sport sedan, not a generic (geriatric?) grocery-getter. Looked at the Accord, but that car has no character - it's vanilla pudding (doesn't offend, but isn't going to give you an arm-pumping OH, YEAH! experience either) next to the M6.Pros: Smooth ride
Cons: nothing
Advice: Buy 2
Great handling and power. Even the 4 cylinder feels like a 6 it's so powerful.Pros: haha don't see one, guess exterior looks
Cons: performance and feel of the car
Advice: Look elsewhere, test drive the Accord Coupe, you'll see the difference.
Did not like the car at all. No low-end power, as a matter of fact, once the power actually comes on in this car, the car is almost redlining. As for the looks, the car felt very cheap to sit in and drive. All of the dials for the car such as the radio and A/C seemed cheap and very difficult to work for an everyday driver. Definitely not worth it for the price, even if the car was 10 grand less I probably still wouldnt consider it after the test drive, very very dissapointed
