At the time of life when buyers can afford a high-end luxury sedan, there are usually a number of factors that have become more important. Safety rises in priority, and driver assistance features are keenly appreciated. Luxury for its own sake is expected, but performance cannot be sacrificed.

Today’s senior buyers want all of those qualities, and automakers have responded by offering the strongest lines of luxury cars in the history of the automobile. These vehicles combine timeless styling, state-of-the-art safety features, supreme comfort, and the latest in connectivity and premier infotainment and audio systems. Here are 10 of our favorite luxury cars for mature customers.

2019 Acura RLX

The 2019 Acura RLX is a top-tier executive sedan created by one of the most highly awarded brands in automotive history. The RLX is one of the best-built and most comfortable sedans on the market, and luxury is evident from the moment you open the door. Fine leather upholstery covers seats that are both heated and cooled, and the steering wheel is heated, as well.

Safety is key to Acura’s value proposition, and the RLX offers a full suite of the latest driver assistance and collision avoidance features. The AcuraWatch suite of safety functions includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed following capability. Blind spot and rear cross traffic monitors also are available, as well as a bird’s eye camera system.
