This is a heavy car and it feels like it. Acceleration is good. Comfort is good. Mileage is only fair and it requires premium fuel. Some features considered standard on a mid-priced car are missing on the Continental, e.g., no cargo net in trunk, no underhood light, no dual zone HVAC controls. Quality leaves a lot to be desired. Service is not what one expects in a luxury car; you might as well be driving an Escort when you pull into the Lincoln service dept. -

Advice: look at the cadillac before you decide
It's a heavy car a rides like a dream on the highway...but on city streets it doesn't handle bumps as well as one would expect for the quality of the suspension. Big 8 cyl. has outstanding power but it a little noisy upon excelleration. Handle corners nicely and is responsive. -

Advice: I've owned Lincolns since 1936
Takes curves better than the town car and is very good on gas milage.Handles great.Upholstery (carpet)Gives this Aotomobile a poor guality rating.Otherwise a great handler.Lincoln should put a regular size spare tire and wheel in this vehicle. (No micky mouse tire and wheel).I think the price you pay for the Continental you should get all wheels the same size -
