    2004 Lexus RX 330 - AWD

    Pros: Interior looks

    Cons: Performance

    Advice: Look elsewhere

This vehicle is the biggest dissappointmnet of any car I have ever bought, new or used, in the past 30 years. It has a dangerous hesitation, paint on the body and bumpers that does not match, a rattle in the sunroof that the dealer has tried 4 times to fix, and the worst customer service imaginable.

    2004 Lexus RX 330 - FWD

    Pros: Good handling

Cons: Camera is a distraction. Backup beeper would be better. Had both so I can compare.

Advice: Great car. Took a test Drive in BMW and Accura

This vehicle drives and handles like a car. Excellent handling and quiet. It is what you would expect from a Lexus. Camera is a distraction. The power back door lift is a plus when your hands are full. Gauges are well layed out and the sound system is excellent. Toyota Highlander drives the same since they are sister cars. I opted for Lexus because of resale value.

    2004 Lexus RX 330 - AWD

    Pros: The Lexus name

Cons: Weak performance, fuzzy rearview camera, no adjustable footpetals, bad armrest, lack of headroom

Advice: Don't buy the Lexus rx330

The rx330 was a bit of a dissappointment to me even though they redesigned the car they could made more inprovements. The rear view camera was fuzzy and distorted the view in backing up. The camera was mounted in a very bad place, it could be knocked off easily. The performance of this car is inadequate compared to other SUV's in the market. No adjustable foot petals. Lack of headroom. Finally, who in the world designed the armrest?

    2004 Lexus RX 330 - FWD

Pros: Both the navigation system and rear camera are amazing!

Cons: I would like to have the option of disabling the side mirrors from turning down during backup. This feature takes a while getting used to.

Advice: Don't hesitate to get this SUV.

Has a very comfortable and luxurious 'car-like' ride for an SUV. It handles very well around turns as well as up hills. It's a true pleasure to drive. It is one of the more interesting-looking, stylish SUVs on the road.

    2004 Lexus RX 330 - FWD

    Pros: Comfort, visibility, power hatch.

Cons: The operating controls are not logically placed. Their operation is not functional. Controls on steering wheel, too small as are buttons for heated seats. When it rains, and the windows are lowered water drips in.

Advice: Try this out and see if the controls makes sense and the size of the buttons are small. Tough for big hands.

Test drove RX 330 in 4/03. Purchased because of comfort and visibility. Drove navigation/ back upcamera version - but did not purchase. As you own a vehicle, and put it through the day to day routines - I found when it rains and you lower the windows water drips in. The controls from defroster/fan speed/wipers/speed control are not placed or function logically. The buttons are too small on the heated seats (not in close position for passenger), the controls on the steering wheel were probably designed thinking people use their pointer finger to operate - when in fact people use their thumbs. Mercury Mountaineer got the controls correct (too bad Lexus) didn't. I have disliked all the control features and went to see the new Cadillac. However, will keep the Lexus because of the extreme comfort and visibility. I am learning to adapat to the poor functionability of their controls.

    2004 Lexus RX 330 - AWD

Pros: Style... beautiful design and beautiful interior

Cons: No coin holder....had to add my own

Advice: Beautiful design and great road handling....A real head turner!

Just bought this vehicle a week ago and I just love it! Great style for 2004. Had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 8cyl which had more power than the Lexus but not the look and style of the Lexus. The only thing that Lexus forgot was the coin holder. The Jeep had a nice one in the center armrest. This vehicle handles more like a car than a suv which was a pleasure driving. If you are thinking about buying a real head turning qualitily vehicle the RX330 is the answer! Get the all wheel drive model for best performance.
