This has been my dream car since I first saw it on the road in 1999. Many have tried to talk me into other vehicles with no luck. I let some family and friends test drive my 'baby' and they know why I ride with a smile on my face. My Coach Edition RX300 has lived up to all expectations. -

very smooth ride, paint chips easily, controls for seat adjustments are difficult to reach, don't open windows the noise will dumb you, no lumbar support on passenger seat overlooked it when I bought the 2000 model three years ago. Fuel approx. 17/21 at full speed and w/ac. Space is abundant -

Advice: Buy the Toyota Highlander - Same darn thing!
My wife made me buy this lady's SUV. Nice Ride - Drives like a Car - But it's not worth the extra money it cost to have the Lexus logo instead of the Toyota - it's the same darn thing made by the same company. This SUV is not much better than a car for off road driving. But it probably handles well in the snow on regular streets, as long as the snow is not more than 6 inches. -

Cons: Wish it had better gas mileage.
Advice: If you live in a hot area, get more window tinting.
I was worried about spending so much for a car; however, the money was well worth it. This SUV rides like a car, very smooth and quiet. Granted it does not handle like my wife's BMW 525, but it just does not matter, it handles well enough for highway and city driving. I like it much more than the wife's car. The steering is light, but tight, you can still take your hands off the wheel and it won't wander or float like a big cadilac. The automatic a/c & heater works extremly well, just set the tempature and go. Only gripe is the manual does not explaine well enough how all functions work. I found I just had to play with the buttons a bit. Leather seats are great, comfortable and look good too. Do wish the windows were tinted a little more, because we live in Southern California and it gets hot in the sun quickly. There is plenty of room for stuff. If I have more stuff then will fit in this car, then I'll hire a moving company. Overall, I could see myself owning the car the next twenty years and still being comfortable with it. -
