This year's LA Auto Show will go down in history as being the show where the subcompact crossover made its mark in North America. Three different automakers premiered their interpretations of a subcompact crossover. One of those three happened to be Honda with the 2016 HR-V.
The HR-V is a blend of different Honda vehicles. The exterior design is heavily influenced by the larger CR-V crossover. The subcompact Fit lends its platform and Magic Rear Seat which allows the HR-V to swallow up 60 cubic feet of cargo. Under the hood, the HR-V features the 1.8L four-cylinder from the compact Civic producing 138 horsepower
Autobytel's Benjamin Hunting gives the details on Honda's new crossover.
