LA Auto Show: 2016 Ford Explorer First Look

After a few years of successful sales, Ford decided to give the new Explorer a bit of a refresh. Their refresh program starts with a new front end treatment that includes a new grille and reshaped lights for the front and rear. Next is the introduction of a 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder that makes 270 horsepower and can be equipped with all-wheel drive. The finishing touch is the introduction of a new Platinum trim level which includes a number of luxury appointments and the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 as standard.
