Pros: great looks, clean lines
Advice: GREAT CAR!!! Everything you want for half the price of others...this car has class... the more you look at it and drive, the more you will fall in love with it... all the features and great looks for a great price...
Pros: the response from a standing start
Cons: I think a compass in the mirror would be a help
Advice: test drive it you wonThe moment I drove the vehicle I was absorbed with the solid body and quiet motor, could hardly feel the engine running, the pickup was very responsive have had many people complement me on the styling and appearence, room in the back seat was more than many cars, doors are high and easy to get in, open extra wide for easy access, leather seats very comfortable , six disk cd player
Cons: Front end
Advice: If you want comfort and appearance at a decent price, this car is for you. If you want afterburners, look for something else.I rented a 2005 Kia Amanti from National Car Rental on a drive from Saginaw, MI down to Boca Raton, FL (I stayed in Cocoa Beach) and back. By the time that I reached Florida, I definitely wanted to acquire this vehicle. First, what I drove. This was a gray Amanti, leather interior, heated seats, with a sun roof and 200 miles on it when I picked it up. Performance was decent for a 200 H.P. engine, though I wish it would be a little higher. Quality was impressive, and the interior looked luxurious (when compared with the $45K Cadillac CTS-V that I looked over at the Merritt Island, FL mall, for example). Handling was good; I easily did 800 miles in a day and was tired, but definitely not sore. Fuel economy was just about as predicted with 23.5 miles per gallon on the Florida side of the trip and 15.5 miles per gallon on the Michigan side for the same speeds, etc. I will let the reader determine whether it's Michigan's climate or roads ;). The sound system was great (no static on most of the radio channels, though I forgot to pack a CD), and the 4in. driver information screen was larger than what I was used to. There was plenty of leg room (I'm 5'8') and, after the fact, I learned that the passenger seat (with headrest removed) lays down flat so a passenger can sit in the rear seat and lay their legs across the whole of the front seat. When I pulled into the first rest area, I had two businessmen venture across the parking lot to inquire about my car. It has something of a 'Jag-like' appearance that attracts those who are into luxury as opposed to pure performance. The only complaint is that a rock was taken through the front bumper and it was then that I noticed that, like most cars, the front end is entirely one piece. However, I would gladly recommend this vehicle to cost conscious buyers.
Pros: The style and look, not mention the price
Cons: Gas mileage
Advice: Looking for a luxury car on a budget this is the car to buyIf you drive it you will buy it! I have had my Amanti since December and there are only two things I'd change. Better gas mileage (they say it will better as I drive it more) and automatic door locks. A navigational system would be nice.
Pros: The outside mirrors pivot down when you engage the car in reverse, to help you see the ground.
Cons: The car lacks directional signals on the outside mirrors.
Advice: Take a test drive and see for yourself, it's worth it!I purchased my Amanti one week ago, I have been facinated with the performance of the car. On my initial test drives (5 times) of the Amanti, I at first had considered buying the Sorento, because it was an SUV at a price I could reasonably afford even though I never test drove the Sorento. My Amanti has every option offered & available, I have received many compliments on its looks, the interior, Leather Convenience Package is the way to go with the sunroof, and the price I offered & accepted by the dealer. So far, I'm looking for a lot of fun from this vehicle, my only suggestion for future model, add directionals to the outside of the mirrors and, a self locking feature when you engage from park to drive. This is a winner and I am a real person
Pros: The stylish look. I can park my car with a group of other cars, but the crowd will stop and look in awe at mine
Advice: Always keep an open mind and keep in mind the perks.I had been a Town Can owner for over 20 years. I purcashed this Kia because I loved its looks and the way it felt while driving. As my wife stated, I have nothing less than what I had.
Pros: The memory setting for lumbar support, seat adjustment and power mirrors. Infinity 6-disc changer is the bomb!!!!
Cons: Cupholders do not hold 2 medium-sized drinks comfortably-too small. Trip Computer shows some of the same info on the instrument panel. Should have had a digital compass reading.
Advice: Test drive this baby and you will want to buy one. The price can't be beat for all you get as standard features. What a luxurious and plush ride! Handles very well. A very quiet ride. This is definitely a winner!! A great looking vehicle that states 'class'. Always turn heads from all age groups, including children under 10 years. The interior and exterior look fantastic. Leather seats are very comfortable and great looking. Most people don't know what kind of car it is until they see the name on the car. They compare it to a Bentley, Mercedes, Jaquar and smooth ride of a Lexus. LUV IT!!!
