The Jeep Wrangler is a two door five passenger light utility powered by an all new 3.6 Liter V6 that produces 285 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque being channeled through a Command Trac shift on the fly four wheel drive system, made up of a next generation Dana solid front axle and a heavy duty rear member, returning an estimated 17 MPG traversing the urban jungle and as much as 21 MPG when exploring the open road.  Only a few of the reasons why the Wrangler was chosen as the Autobytel 2012 SUV of the year.

The entry level Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4x4 retails for $22,045 and comes equipped with a six speed manual, six speaker Media Center with CD/MP3 capabilities as well as a Sunrider Soft Top and rides on a set of 16 inch painted steel wheels.  The next level Wrangler is the Sport S, which is also offered as a RHD version, starts at $22,290 and is a bit more user friendly with amenities like air conditioning, power accessories and a set of 17 inch Sparkle Silver rollers.  The Wrangler Limited Sahara gets upgraded with an available five speed automatic transmission a seven speaker Infinity sound system with XM Satellite radio connectivity as well as the Freedom Top multi piece removable hard top, painted bumper insert with fog lamps and a set of 18 inch aluminum wheels painted Satin Silver wrapped in on/off road rubber starting at $27,970.

The four door Rubicon comes ready for rock crawling thanks to a Rock Track heavy duty transfer case that sends torque to a pair of Tru Lock front and rear locking differentials before reaching the 17 inch Satin Carbon alloys wrapped in 32 inch mud tires, the $29,995 Rubicon Wrangler Unlimited also comes with an electronic front sway bar disconnect that allows even more suspension travel when going over large obstacles, without having to get dirty.  The Wrangler Unlimited Arctic Edition is ready for colder climates with a body color three piece hard top, hill start assist, official Jeep branded slush mats to go with the unique black interior with Polar White and orange accents as well as black tail lamp guards and a matching matte hood decal from Mopar along with a set of 17 inch black semi gloss wheels starting at $32,254.

The top of the line $36,880 Wrangler Unlimited Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Edition, named after the military inspired first person shooter, and is toted as the “Toughest vehicle in the world.  Any world.”  The COD:MW3 Wrangler comes complete with winch ready heavy duty bumpers by Mopar as well as rock rails, a power bulge on the hood, MW3 logo slush mats and a limited production grab handle on the instrument panel to round out the action packed Wrangler.

A list of cars similar to the Wrangler Unlimited includes the 2012 Toyota 4Runner and 2012 Nissan Pathfinder.
