Refreshed Jeep Lauded for EcoDiesel V6 Engine
There aren’t too many folks with fond memories of the past winter, but you can count the team behind the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee among them. Just consider this quote from Mike Manley, president and CEO of the Jeep brand: “Particularly in one of the harshest winters on record, we’re delighted that the influential members of the New England Motor Press Association have once again recognized the all-weather capability of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. This latest honor from NEMPA was recognition as the “Official Winter Vehicle of New England,” a title that the Grand Cherokee has now captured for four years in a row.
The new diesel powertrain did certainly help, especially as it enables the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee to ring up an EPA line of up to 22 mpg city/30 mpg highway/25 mpg combined.
