2008 Jeep Compass - Sport 4x4
Pros: Front end / Front seat folds flat / Reclining rear seats
Cons: Overall Interior
Advice: Don't buy it for comfort or standard features.
Maybe it's because I'm spoiled with the Dodge crew cabs we've had over the past 5 or 6 years, but we couldn't afford to drive one anymore w/ the gas prices the way they are. I just wish we could've found a way to afford a replacement with more comfort and user-friendly features. We opted for the Compass because of the gas mileage/4x4. (We got the Sport 26E Pkg). Other than that, I can't get the driver's seat into a comfortable position; the stereo system sounds just like our cheap boombox; the arm rest is hard/small/difficult to use/no coin holder/keeps you from getting to your cups in the holders; the blind spots in the back (we're keeping the seats folded down because of that); can't even fit a compact umbrella in any of the door pockets. Don't get much for your $ anymore. -

this is a GREAT small suv! i have always driven a vw, but was convinced to buy an suv by my husband and father. this has respectable gas milage for the class and pretty acurate to the sticker it rides great and gets great pick up if you can drive a stick (everyone should!) my fwd was great in the ice and snow this year! -

Pros: Fold down seats, roomy interior, excellent storage
Cons: Bad blind spots from rear corners of the compass
Advice: Excellent truck that drives like a car!
Excellent small suv, but drives like a car! Much room and storage, fold down seate are excellent to carry more cargo, pets, etc. Only problem, slight one, is the bad blind spots from the rear corners of the car.
