But the Rattles and squeaks
Pros: Blind spot monitor is superb. Love the gear shift disc too.
Cons: The rattles, the interior finish, the noise in the cabin. poor manufacture
I bought one of the first XF's. Frost Blue. A good looking great performing car!. Exterior is superb, the interior design beats anything I have ever seen or used. BUT it has rattles and squeaks and groans and it is noisy. Do not buy the best audio system, you will never hear it. The inly problems after 2 years have been door locks that lock or unlock at their own will. This has been fixed, and the car was not to my order spec. A really great car, great service, but the Rattles!!!!!!!Jaguar 2008 - the last of the classic Jaguars
Pros: Style
Cons: Outdated Electronics
As Jaguar moves to the world of the XF and stretching it into the new XJ 2011, my Jaguar XJ Super 8 has been a stylish drive. Smooth ride and a rather responsive engine makes it a joy. Outdated electronics and a very poor service department makes it me after nearly 20 years of owning several Jaguars ready to move on. It saddens me since I have become associated with Jaguar since I have driven one for many years. They are unique cars and always an eye catcher but from the owner's perspective they are work - or at least require to much work for what they deliver.Good year round car
Pros: Comfortable seats. Looks.
Cons: Gas mileage and range
Overall, a good car, with adequate power. Looks nice and handles reasonably well. Heated seats only worked on the front of the seat and not at the butt. It has poor gas mileage and range. I have to fill up at about 240-250 milesSo Smooth-XF
Pros: everything...........(interior and exterior, lots of pep)
Cons: glove box sometimes gets stuck open.
This car was given to me for my 60th birthday. In college my father let me drive his Jag and always wanted another one. This is the nicest and best looking car I have ever had the pleasure to own. Thank you dear sweet husband!Luxo vs Sportiness
Pros: Comfortable ride on a sports car frame.
Cons: lack of performance sound at low RPM.
My Jaguar XF is a break through in car design. It sorta looks like other cars in it class but after a few minutes with it, You can tell its unique. It really does a have the luxo feel but really adds the sporty performance. Most cars in its class are either to much sporty or to much luxo but not right in the middle. I would recommend it to anybody who wants all the comfort features but who also wants to enjoy a weekend free spirit drive.Love my Jag
Pros: Looks and performance.
Cons: Nothing
I have a 2010 Jaguar XF Supercharged and love everything about it. It is the third Jaguar that I have owned since 2007 and is as good or better than any that I have owned. I will have to say that my 2007 XK had to be the sportiest of any and I still miss that car but the performance and acceleration of this car is breathtaking.Pros: The Blind Spot monitor. Superb. The pop up gear shift is great too. Customer service
Cons: The rattles, the interior noise, the electrical faults
Advice: Test drive the actual car. Check finish and listen for rattles.
Beautiful car. Great acceleration throughout the range. Good mileage, better than my last two cars. I get 31 on the freeway and 19 in town. In first 13 months of ownership have averaged 21.8 MPG. Very good interior design, spoiled by poor quality fit and finish. Quite noisy inside, lots of 1950's type rattles that never go away. Wood trim is rough and unfinished and cannot be replaced. Rear door wind noise is high above 50 mph. Great service. Did not get car I ordered but it was finally fixed after 4 months. Never had such good (and neccessary) customer support from a manufacturer.
