Pros: ROOMINESS AND QUIET RIDE
Cons: GAS MILEAGE
Advice: BE READY TO BUY ONCE YOU TEST DRIVE.THE BEST IN ITS CLASS. PERFORMANCE, QUALITY AND COMFORT UNBEATABLE IN ITS PRICE RANGE.
Cons: Bose stereo not up to the rest for a near luxury car.
Advice: Test drive this vehicle. You will be sold.If you have considered a BMW 3 series, Audi or Lexus you have to test drive this car! The overall build quality and power are amazing. All the extras for less plus the renowned infiniti dealer service with loaner car.
Pros: The navigation system... wait, the 300 Watt Bose Audio system!
Cons: A slow Lexus ahead of me.
Advice: If you want a car that is similar, you can pay $80k and buy a Mercedes S600 or pay $50 k and buy a Q. Your choice.Test Drive?... we've owned our Premium Package New Q for about 7 months now and it has been PERFECT. A Luxury car with amazing performance. Yes out in the lonley roads of West Texas, over a long weekend, we easily cruised at 150 MPH which the car reached quickly, but wouldn't exceed because of electronic governing. It certainly had more to give. After about 10 minutes we slowed down to a leasurly 130. Wow what fun! Glad the cops were eating doughnuts..
Pros: 340hp engine
Cons: Air conditioning is weak by S. Texas standards.
Advice: Shop and compare! The 'European' sports sedan feel that Infiniti is noted for (vs. the 'Cadillac' feel of the Lexus) took a beating on the new Q45 because of a very noticable hesitation problem, a real shame in a car with 340hp!! Fortunately, Infiniti has a factory fix for this (new gas pedal and electronics), but so far you have to ask for it to get it. The car performs exceptionally well after the 'fix', and remains the best value in a luxury sport sedan. The Bose radio finally lives up to expectations--they added a whoofer in the back. AC in the seats would be a nice add-on, but isn't available.
Pros: The performance of the 255 HP V-6 engine.
Cons: The relatively poor gas mileage (plus premium fuel is recomended).
Advice: Note the legroom if you're taller than average. The I35 felt powerful yet tight and nimble. The interior was fairly quiet and luxurious. All controls were well placed and easy to use. The addition of the side sills and rear mud guards give the car a sportier look. Although my wife fit comfortably in the driver's seat, I was a bit cramped at 6'5'. It is an overall awesome car at a great value!
Pros: TIMING CHAIN, INSTEAD OF RUBBER BELT
Cons: REQUIRES HI TEST GAS
Advice: COMES LOADED WITH STANDARD EQUIPMENT, AND HAS STYLEPLENTY OF POWER. SMOOTH RUNNING. GOOD BRAKES.
Pros: Conveniences...from memory driver seating, to factory installed Garage Door buttons. The packages are great and you cannot beat the price.
Cons: With Navigation package, the CD changer is in the Trunk
Advice: This vehicle has everything you could ask for, yet the price is unbelieveable.. Feel free to email me if you have any questions in regards to current performance. This car handles like no other. It's graceful (luxurious), yet it handles like a sports car. Highly recommend the Sport, Navigation, and Sunroof Package.
