Pros: quality...no mechanical problems at all.Very happy w/Infinity
Pros: REAR SUN SHADE- LOVE TO PLAY WITH IT!
Cons: CLOCK- REQUIRES TO MUCH TO READ IT WHILE DRIVING
Advice: GRAB IT...ITS ALOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCKI JUST BOUGHT A USED 2002 I35 LAST WEEK (7/20/07) AND IT WAS VERY WELL MAINTAINED BY THE ONE PREVIOUS OWNER. IT CAME WITH ALL THE SERVICE RECEIPTS. I TRADED IN A 2003 ACURA 3.2 TL WHICH HAD NO TAKE OFF POWER TO ME...THIS CAR IS LIKE A JET AND DOESNT HUNT FOR GEARS LIKE THE TL DOES...... THE INTERIOR IS LAYED OUT VERY NICE. THE CAR LOOKS LIKE IT HAD NEVER BEEN DRIVEN (OTHER THAN THE 80K ON IT...LOL) I HAVE WANTED THIS CAR FOR MANY YEARS BUT COULDNT AFFORD IT NEW... IT HAS HEATED STEERING WHEEL, HEATED SEATS FRONT AND REAR... REAR POWER SHADE, IM NOT SO CRAZY ABOUT THE CLASSIC CLOCK ..IT REQUIRES TO MUCH CONCENTRATION WHILE DRIVING, BUT IT MATCHES THE CLASSY INTERIOR.
Cons: wind noise fromm sunroof
Advice: BUY IT !I purchased the 2003 I35..dealers are giving awesome deals and low financing. I have 1150 miles on the car and have had it for about 3 weeks. The 200 watt Bose stero is great and much better than the Bose in my 2001 Acura TL. The car rides and performs much better than my TL did. There is some wind noise at hwy speed from the sunroof. I am going to have the dealer look at that. The interior is so comfortable that I can't wait for my work day to end just so I can enjoy my car for the ride home. In my opinion, great car, great value with a very upscale appearance and accepted as such by all that see it. Try it and Buy it.
Pros: Very powerful performance from a V6
Cons: No automatic mirrors when changing seat memory
Advice: Look for a vehicle with low mileage as the warantee is good for 60000 miles or 4 yearsThis car is very stable at speed. Handles the road conditions very well. Performance impressive at all levels: (acceleration, braking, handling, etc.) Very comfortable car with good looking interior, nice leather, trip computer, well placed cup holders, steering wheel controls for stereo etc. This car has a 'killer' Bose stereo system with a 6 disc CD changer. Well designed vehicle. I would purchase or lease again.
Pros: Silky smooth, breathtaking performance. Silent inside.
Cons: A little jittery on poor roads. Wide turning circle due to front-wheel drive.
Advice: Take the time to check out all the added value features. Read a leading consumer magazine to verify incredible reliability. The I35 is a big car, nicely disguised as a scorching performer. Either that or - it's a bomb, nicely dressed up as a conservative sedan. Either way, it can pass as a luxury sedan pulling up to the Ritz, and then go out and blow the doors off Mustangs and Camraros. I've had ZERO problems of any kind coming on 12,000 miles and it's been across the country and back. It's graceful and silent inside with many luxury features and nice touches. It has a wonderful, solid FEEL to it. Whatever you ask of it, the car just does it. While it drives like a big car, it responds and doesn't wallow or hesitate. WONDERFUL feel to the brakes. I like the styling. It isn't tricky or gaudy; it's a nice looking 4-door sedan. Comes with wonderful warranty and roadside service, both of which you may never need. Wonderful stereo! You should hear Mozart or Brahms or Nancy Sinatra on it! The six-disc changer is easy to work and the controls on the steering wheel are just right. Super-comfortable driver seat and all the passengers I've carried so far love it. This includes my 91-year-old mom who rode across country in it.
Pros: Confident power.
Cons: Dealer almost 100 miles from my home.
Advice: Get itGreat car! Sunroof leaked first week on road. Should have been noticed at dealer. Their response to problem was excellent (Yeah Infinity of Richmond!). Power is super, ride excellent. It is not a Mercedes, but at half the price it is more than acceptable.
Pros: the engine, smooth and refined, powerfully responsive
Cons: exterior styling may be a touch conservative, could ride a little smoother on rough pavement
Advice: don't buy an extended warrantySmooth and refined transmission with more than enough reserve power upon demand to pass up most vehicles on the road. The engine of the I35 is awesome, silent under crusing conditions. As expected from Infiniti, the fit and finish of the vehicle are superb with excellent interior materials used. I specifically like the CD changer / sound system and am especially fond of the heated steering wheel living near Lake Tahoe where the temps are oftendip below freezing. Like it's brother (the maxima) the I35 has not disappointed me with its reliability having not even a minor defect noted in over 5,000 miles of driving. I am impressed with Infiniti's confidence with this vehicle as they warrant it to a level 10,000 miles greater than other luxury competitors (to 60 K). On a value scale the I35 comes with many options are is priced very attractively to its competitors.
