Great car for the $
Pros: The engine
Cons: the rear seatingI bought this car used in 2009 for around 17K with 47,000 miles and man it has been a blast to drive. The car runs perfectly and when I did a 60 K service last week I only had to change the serpentine belts. This vehicle is manual with the sports tuned suspension that sticks! For the price of a new Fit you get the performance of BMW. Excellent deal.
Best bang for the buck
Pros: performance and exhaust note.
Cons: hard plastic door pocketsI was first attracted to the G 35 Coupe by it's looks. After driving the 6 speed, I was sold. This car delivers all the acceleration you need ( with the traction control off), handles beautifully and stops on a dime. It is now closing on 5 yrs. old with 48k miles and has been 100% trouble free.
Cons: No Rear window wipers
Advice: If you have winter weather you will need a second set of winter tiresImpressive handling, luxurious interior and wow what acceleration. Loved it the moment I got in. I also drive a modified Viper (730 HP) so I needed a car with some oomph! This car handles like a dream and is very sporty looking. My husband loves when I need to use his SUV. He then gets to drive my awesome car!
Pros: Handling and Power
Cons: Gas Mileage - Downside to the power
Advice: Big difference in HP when using regular vs. premium gasBest size, quality, handling, horsepower, features, and price for its class
Pros: Radio control on steering wheel
Cons: No Memory Seat
Advice: Buy Snow tires for the winterAt first dissapointed with how it took off after the curve. I truly thought it would knock me back for 298 horses but it was uphill. I definitely liked how it handled the high speed turn though. I gave it another chance on the straight away and thats when I knew this baby had some umph!
Pros: Now the ability for the car to absorb impact force,
Cons: brakes a little touchy
Advice: drive gently or it might come out from under you.My wife just totaled my G35 sedan and while the front and rear were wiped out by a couple of pick-ups, the interior looks ok except for the air bag deployment. I'm impressed with the safety inside the passenger compartment.
Pros: Exterior Design & Price
Cons: Gas Mileage
Advice: Best buy in its classI had a choice, a BMW 3 series or the G35. Sure, the BMW was a better ride but only by a slight margin. Not enough to justify the $8k extra I would've paid for the BMW. At the price point, the G35 can't be beat. My friend purchased a BMW 330 recently & he's having nothing but trouble having to go to the dealership all the time to get things fixed. Fixing the BMW cost much more than to fix Infiniti as well. All these reasons made the choice clear. I prefer the exterior design of the G35 opposed to the BMW 330. Interior the BMW wins hand down, but the G35 isnt that bad. People say the Interior sucks but I actually like it, but it could be better. The G35 also provides more power but the BMW is better on the corner turns. G35 is a great choice & a beautiful car. Can't say enough of the compliments I get from strangers & my friends always asking me to pick them up in my G35. I truly believe that this would be still great value if it were $10k more, but luckily for us it's affordable.
