2015 Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen EV sold to 1st customer

Today at Orange County-Tustin Hyundai was significant day because the 1st Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen EV was delivered to its new owner.  Dave Zuchowski was onsite to talk about the vehicle.

With a projected range of 265 miles, it is similiar to other EV's but the big difference: zero impact on air quality.

Many media outlets were onsite to get the scoop on the big news.

The blue letters etched into the lower door lets you know that you are not dealing with a regular EV.  With a projected fill time of 10 minutes, you can get on the move faster than with your standard EV.

The styling of the Hyundai Tucson is very much in line with their other models; they have a good curb appeal. With the fact that you are being uber eco-friendly, that has to make the driver feel good.

With a 3 year/36-month lease at $399.00 a month and free fuel for the entire lease, these are going to go quickly.

Under the hood you will find a estimated 134hp and 221ft lbs of torque.  A top speed of 100mph and an acceleration of 0-62mph in 12.5sec.
