Hyundai debuted their latest concept car, the Vision G (codename HCD-16), last week on the concept car lawn at the world-renowned Pebble Beach Concours de Elegance. However, Autobytel was treated to a special preview of the stretched two door Grand Touring concept at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art where the covers were pulled back for the first time.
Hyundai Design Center's Chief Designer Christopher Chapman was on hand to share some insights into where the Korean automaker is looking to go with the Vision G Concept. While this Genesis Coupe concept does reflect the future of Hyundai's design vision, it is not a representation of the future Genesis Coupe. The Vision G is a much more upscale take on the Genesis theme, and serves as a complement to the current set of sedans as part of a broader vision for Hyundai.
