Hyundai delivers first hydrogen powered Tucson FuelCell

Hyundai made waves last year when they announced their pricing and fuel strategy for the 2015 Tucson FuelCell customers at the LA Auto Show. For only a few thousand dollars down and $499 per month not only will owners be getting a nicely equipped crossover, but they won't have to pay for gas, ever. And that's not only because the FuelCell runs on liquid Hydrogen as opposed to traditional gasoline, but because Hyundai, not knowing how the whole hydrogen fuel pricing thing would work out, thought it would just be easier to foot the bill for the next couple of years. We were able to catch up with Hyundai Motor America President and CEO David Zuchowski just after handing over the keys to the first owners at Tustin Hyundai in Southern California where he went a little further into detail about the momentus ocassion for the Korean automaker.
