Old Reliable
Pros: reliable
Cons: road noise
excellent service handles very well for SUV good powerful responsive ridePros: It's a Honda
Cons: this new noise
Advice: Good car
Help! I have a 45k miles, and a whisteling noise now comes from the Pilot. This only happens when you driving at 63mph or more. My dealer soaked me for $98 dollars and said its from wind off the winshield. They resealed the top of the windshield, took my $98.00 even though I have an extended warranty. The noise still exists. And so does the dealer who I am not very happy with. Does any one habe any ideas what is wrong ?Pros: console
Cons: seating paint job
Advice: overpriced so bargain hard
Had a 2003 Pilot for 1 year and my husband traded it on a Nissan Titan for him. It is uncomfortable and the paint job is TERRIBLE chips very easily!! Miss sun roof and fog lights! Put 26,000 miles and found it not comfortable on long trips and my husband who is only 5'10' found the passenger seat the problem! The 8 seat thing is a joke the last set is only for SMALL kids! Would be better as 5 seater and more room for 2nd row.Pros: size
Cons: paint peeling off
Advice: shop around...it's very hard to negotiate with Honda dealers
I've had my pilot @ 5 mos. Small 'nicks' & one very large paint peeled place have appeared on the sides of my doors...dealer service mgr says they will replace one of the panels but to use touch up paint on the others so they won't develop into the silver dollar size of the largest one. Has anyone had problem w/paint jobs? Other than that we've been satisfied w/ the Pilot & love how it handles & accomodates our 4 grandchildren & us. Service mgr said to 'park at back of lots' so people won't hit us w/doors...Pros: Ride
Cons: There are a couple of rattles when the road is very bumpy
Advice: Highly recommended
Great vehicle and great utillity. The vehicle is excellent in the snow and the four wheel drive system works great. We previously owned a 1998 Forrunner and the Pilot does better in icy conditions. It has ample power and the ride is excellent.Pros: It's a Honda
Cons: Not over 6000lbs GVWR - What were they thinking?
Advice: Nice Vehicle - buy one unless you own a business, then opt for 6000lb Tahoe or Sequoia
Rides Very smooth. Ample acceleration. Excellent build qualityPros: 4 doors
Cons: needed to be over 6000 lbs. gwvr
Advice: get honda to make it over 6000 lbs. gwvr
Why did honda make this one just below 6000 lbs. gwvr? Please get it over the 6000 lbs gwvr,I'll buy it.
