My friends call it my 'chic SUV'
Pros: All wheel drive, it goes everywhere I need it to.
Cons: Basic included features and short warranty.I purchased the CR-V brand new and have loved it from day one. It goes where I need it to reliably . It carries everything I need it to carry from bags of lime, to a recliner, to passengers comfortably. The rear seats even recline. It will be easier to mentioned the two things I don't like rather than the many things I do. There are two basic models, one with everything and one without. I didn't want a sun roof or GPS so I couldn't get extra storage compartments, or the rear shelf ( which I purchased for $300) etc. SUV's shouldn't have disc brakes in the back. I've had them replaced twice already on warranty under 30,000 miles. Driving in the winter (salt and sand) or back roads in the summer must cause too much debris or something. I'm considering the extended warranty only if it covers brakes. According to reliability surveys the extended warranty shouldn't be needed for anything else. I've talked to many other owners and did much research before the purchase and have not been disappointed.
Pros: The new look - the solid and secure feel of the ride.
Advice: Just buy it!Best decision I've made in buying a new vehicle. I've had Honda's for fifteen years and all of them have been the best. Very dependable. I love it!
Pros: overall interior package
Cons: the engine could be stronger.
Advice: Best decision you can make is to buy it.Very comfortable, good sight lines, well organized and extremely well built. Fit and finish are the best I have seen, including some very expensive cars. I drive the EX and was very pleased with the standard package. I could wish for a stronger engine or better gas mileage but overall am very happy.
