The vehicle that does everything well!
Pros: The moon roof, I use it all the time here in Hawaii
Cons: The visibility looking back, the corners are hard to see
I bought this vehicle because it is SAFE, Reliable, and does well on fuel. As an extra, the street thieves are not interested in this car, so they leave it alone. During the three years that I have owned this car, it has been gas and go, meaning that I have never had a time when the dash turned red, and said take me for service. From the day I took delivery, this gem has done everything that I have required of it-in spades. It hauls people, ( have stuffed 7 adults in it), my dog, he loves going for rides, and carrying just plain stuff, with folding down seats, I have carried lumber, plywood etc. My warranty just ended, and I've been looking, but I can honestly say that I haven't found a satisfactory replacement, save getting a new CRV. Oh yes, I average 21+ driving up to 900 feet above sea level every day, not bad, and my CRV has enough power to get out of harms way easily! If I drive on the freeway, I see the average jump, I've had as high as 27 mpg, but I don't do much freeway anymore. Not what it could be
Pros: AWD
Cons: Road noise
I have been unexpectedly disappointed in my 2007 Honda CR-V. It is unacceptably noisy on the road and has a much stiffer, bouncier ride than other small SUVs. Driver seat adjustments are inadequate for comfort for longer trips. Towing even an empty utility trailer causes gas mileage to be reduced by 40%. On a positive note, this has a comfortable backseat for passengers with adequate legroom. There is an abundance of front-seat storage available. Rear seats tip forward to increase cargo area.a gas hog, overall disapointment
Pros: sun/moon roof
Cons: comfort level, poor gas mileage
A disapointing car , Honda has let us down with this gas guzzling four cylinder. not very peppy, not economical at all, noisy drive train in reverse, overall a louder road noise car than many other Honda's we have had. This is a real disappointment.2007 Honda CR-V blah
Pros: resale value
Cons: the entire vehicle and experience from initial purchase
The 2007 Honda CR-V is a total bust of a vehicle. It's only saving feature is the low cost of maintenance. Otherwise, the gas mileage is poor (18-20 mpg), pick-up is sluggish at best, and comfort is questionable. I will not buy another Honda especially since all of the Honda service centers I have been to have very poor customer service (leaving me on hold for upwards of 10 minutes). I would suggest another SUV if you are in the market.Pros and Cons
Pros: reliability
Cons: cloth interior
My CR-V has been a great vehicle with a few exceptions. It wears tires very quickly. I have already purchased three sets of tires, had the wheels aligned each time, and nothing helps. Also, the beige cloth interior is impossible to keep clean, even without children. One other problem is that the low beam headlights are very vision restrictive. I have had them adjusted several times, but the problem remains.Very Good
Pros: sunroof
Cons: XM radio
A good vehicle for whatever you need. gets 20 mpg even when you drive like h*ll. much better than previous years the 4 cyl engine has plenty of power
