Pros: Engine/ power moonroof
Cons: Placement of emergency brake
Advice: Take it out and put it through its paces!5 speed has a lot of pickup and never hesitates. Drives well in mud, on highway and on dirt. Some road noise. Seems to have every convenience you need! The true test will be to try the 4x4 this winter
Pros: Interior design and functional features.
Cons: took 12k miles to start getting the MPG I expected.
Advice: Should have great Honda resale as no other small SUV comes close.Have 15k miles so far, great in winter, water and regular driving.Great interior, EX version very nicely equipped, mileage continues to improve.; now getting 27+ MPG with stick shift. Other than limited color choices available (typical Honda), can't think of anything to change in a small SUV.
Pros: the smooth ride
Cons: seats could be more wider
Advice: drive it for at least 30 mins on test drive and it possible take it home for a day or two and througly test it out. Not recommended for tall or people who are bigger than average as seats are not real big.It took 500 miles before i felt comfortable with the vehicle. Maybe this had to do with coming from driving a car and was not used to driving a suv. I love the vehicle now. Not as smooth as a regular car but then again if you want all that smoothness why bother why suv even if its car based suv? My overall impression on 2002 cr-v is poor mans Lexus Rx 300.
Pros: The engine
Cons: Rear door
Advice: If you are tall, check Driver's legroom carefullyNice packaging, plenty of power, those long in the leg will wish for longer seat-bottoms,a little noisier on bad freeway than you might expect.Wonderful fit and finish,Typical Honda attention to detail and Quality.
Pros: full time 4 wheel drive
Cons: Drivers seating
Advice: Take a long test drive to make sure that you are comfortable driving the vehicle. This vehicle drives and handles better than a truck based SUV, but not quite as good as a car. The noise from the tires is still somewhat loud. Either due to the tread design or the sound insulation.
Pros: Fold up rear seats!
Cons: All wheel drive isn't full-time
Advice: Drive it. It drives like a car!It drives very well! I love it and think this the beginning of a long relationship with Honda
Pros: Smooth engine
Cons: leg room for driver /footrest
Advice: buy itI returned to the east coast from Houston and traded my Accord V6 for the CRV. The engine is amazing, very resposive and quiet. Ergonomics are excellent - I will strongly recommend this vehicle.
