Pros: gas mileage
Cons: low seating
great value, outstanding performance, low maintenance vehiclePros: The gas milage.
Cons: The comfort of the seat on long drives.
Advice: Drive it yourself. It will win you over!
I am crazy about this vehicle! It has great pick up on the highway. I am in Wisconsin. In the summer I get up to 47+ mpg and in the winter I get about 33 mpg. I will stay with a hybrid from now on. I just couldn't go back to a regular car.Pros: Handling
Cons: Braking
Advice: Get it in a dark color with dark interior.
This car is perfect for the on the go person. Very spacious, handling is very responsive, parking is a peice of cake. Nice clean look, and rigid. I recently good into a accident with it and the other guy's car got destroyed and my front bumper was barely scratched. Civics aren't what they use to be now they're stronger.Pros: The look!
Cons: Light colored interior shows the dirt!
Advice: Buy one with either grey or black interior.
I bought the Civic 2dr VP 5 speed about 7 months ago. So far, no real trouble to report. The car performs adequately, although it's certainly not overpowered. But I expected no differently from a $12,000. car. It is more stable, quicker, more responsive, and handles better than my dad's 98 LX sedan. The controls are much easier to operate (take a look at the HVAC controls - all large, easy to rotate dials). The AM/FM/CD with integrated clock is intuitive and easy to use. And the VP package includes A/C, a covered center console, a day/night mirror, and a slew of other features you don't expect for the price.Pros: Purchase price
Cons: Lack of power door locks
Advice: Best car for the value
Great car, 15,000 miles later no problems. Wish power locks were an optionPros: zipping through turns
Cons: lousy sound system
Advice: give this car a serious look. High resale value, High safety rating. High Fun Factor.
I LOVE this car. Superb handling with little to no body roll through the turns. The shifter in the center is right where it SHOULD be. I thought it was strange at first, but it feels so right. The hatch is so convenient for my everyday uses, I can't believe I never had a hatchback before. My only complaint -- I wish there were six gears. High RPMs when I'm cruising past 70mph. Of course I replaced the radio and speakers right away. I wish Honda would get with the program where audio is concerned.Pros: Quality
Cons: Rear visibility
Advice: Use Internet to shop for best price
Ride is quite smooth; seems like a much larger car. Ample room for rear seat passengers. Excellent road feel with good positive feedback from steering. Visibility out rear is restricted by rear seat headrests.
