    2002 Honda Civic - EX (M5) Coupe

Pros: Not really a feature but I really like the slightly unrefined feel during spirited driving...a minimalist feeling that makes the car feel light and nimble...maybe its the road and engine noise...

Cons: Can't get seats quite low enough (I'm 6'1'). Wind noise when windows are down. No auto headlight feature.

Advice: Check all light bulbs (has a lot of small exterior bulbs)...Oh, and get the manual tranny!

I really REALLY liked this car when I test drove it and now I am in love with it! I was looking for a 'nice reliable car' that was cheap to buy and run so that I could save money for a house...this car fit the bill and more. Being a car guy I wasn't expecting much from 'basic transportation but now I'm just trying to restrain myself from getting some rims, exhaust, and lower suspension...ugh, maybe I am a 'Ricer' at heart. Other cars I looked at were Imprezas, Golfs and Proteges. They were OK but the choice for me was clear.

    2002 Honda Civic - EX (M5) Coupe

    Pros: -

    Cons: everything

Advice: dont do it go for the new si i havent heard anything too bad

I recently bought a 2002 honda civic ex from a dealership. After 3 days of having the car it was overheating. After a montha nd a half of 'we dont know whats wrong' they fixed the head gasket. THen i get the car back, the horn doesnt work, and the brakes are grinding very badly. So now i am at the point where they are saying my rotors are shot and it is 'driver inflicted' so they cannot fix it. I've had they car driving in my possesion for about 2 months. Can i really wear down the rotors to the point where they are blue? this is ridiculous and the driving is shakey and i hate my new beautiful car!

DO NOT BUY FROM MILLENIUM HONDA, HEMPSTEAD NEW YORK. THEY ARE CROOKS AND ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS SELLING YOU THE CAR AND YOUR MONEY, NOT BUSINESS ETHICS! THEY ARE LIARS AND YOU WILL NOT BE SATISFIED!!!THEY LIED TO ME AND TOLD ME THE DING IN MY CAR WOULD BE FIXED AND NOW THEY REFUSE TO FIX IT PROPERLY.

    2002 Honda Civic - LX (M5) Coupe

    Pros: Quick

Cons: Difficult for larger person to get in the back seat.

Advice: Buy this car for it's dependability, safety, and gas mileage.

I love this car! It's not too fast, but plenty fast enough. It is a five speed, and it gets excellent gas mileage. You would think that a 1.7 Liter, 4-cylinder could hardly get you around quick enough, but I got in the LX model, and I was thoroughly impressed. It has a fairly tight feel to it, and is very manuverable. I had to put a flowmaster on it just because it was so quiet! That's not a bad thing though, I just like to hear it growl every once in a while. The only con to this car is, that it's hard to get into the back(coupe model). Other than that, great car!

    2002 Honda Civic - Hatchback

    Pros: Eager to rev motor

    Cons: Stock suspension

Advice: Great car unmodified.. 20x better when modified.

I have a little over 10k miles now. Car was great stock, but since 8k miles, I added a RevHard turbo kit and a fully adjustable suspension from Apex-i. With the rev limit raised to almost 9k (8600) the motor screams up to that point like its nobody's business. The last time the car was dyno'ed, it put 236hp/184tq to the ground. Obviously, the typical person buying this car wouldn't modify like some of us. But those that do, it is one of the best cars to turbocharge. Power never falls off in Vtec land and continues to pull power all the way to 8600. For all the rest of the people that want a solid car with Honda's world reknowned reliability and sporty for under 18k, look no further.

    2002 Honda Civic - EX (M5) Coupe

Pros: The automatic door lock system

    Advice: Smart,dependable,trouble free Vehicle!

My test drive was extended twice because i really enjoyed being inside and driving the vehicle. I drove it to the beach, the park, to the shopping center, the gas station, into city and downtown traffic. I loved my test drive!!!!!!

    2002 Honda Civic - LX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: gas mileage

    Cons: lack of keyless entry

Advice: make sure you want a small car. This the best bang for the buck in a small car.

Six months old with 12,000+ miles. 39mpg to 42mpg with auto trans. 75 mph on interstate 95 no problem. Quite interior with good front seats and legitimate back seat for two adults. Good size trunk.Low insurance rate. Honda reliability and high resale .
