    2003 Honda Accord - 2.4 LX (M5) Sedan

Pros: Smooth Engine Power and Transmission

Cons: So Far I like it all

Advice: Don't be shy about bargaining with the dealer

Well, after 10+ years of driving an SUV, the last being a Jeep Liberty, Rising gas prices have given me an excuse of once again buying a Car. Having turned 55, I wanted a comfortable, nimble, economical ride, (but NOT boring) and the 2003 4 CYL Accord LX fit the bill perfectly. The 4 cyl is amazing, and shows no signs of stress under load.(I would never have believed I would buy a 4 banger...the 6 was not even considered after my test drive!) It is very comfortable, but one never loses feel of the road as with the Toyota Camry, which was also considered. At $20,000 the 4 cyl Accord LX is a STEAL compared to the 'others' out there

    2003 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX w/Leather (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Looks

Cons: The Driver seat is very uncomfortable

Advice: Take the car for a long drive and see if it hurts your back

The car drives great and I love all of the features. However, I'm 6'2' tall and weight 210 lbs and my back is so sore after I drive this car for over 1/2 hour. I purchased the V6 model with leather seats for sales. I'm in it 3-4 hours a day and my lower back is killing me. TEST DRIVE THIS CAR FOR A 1/2 HOUR TO SEE HOW YOUR BACK FEELS! If you purchase the leather seats, purchase a back support system to add to the driver seat.

    2003 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX w/Leather (M5) Sedan

    Pros: All of them.

Cons: Wish the rear seat folded down 60/40.

Advice: You don't need the 6, the four has power to spare and you'll save on tickets as well as gas.

From the get-go this car impressed me from the first test drive. It's nimble, roomy, and a blast to drive. On the other hand it's relaxing being driven around in it by my wife. We bought the 2003 EX with leather,4 cyl.,automatic but without the navigation, and that is my ONLY regret! We drove it home during an old fashioned New England snow storm and even after owning a 4wd Blazer enjoyed the Accord's control even more. I've read other opinions where people said that they would like daytime running lights, but it shuts off the lights automatically when you shut off and exit the car, so we just leave the headlight switch on which turns them on when you restart the car. A great car, an honest deal, what more could you ask for?

    2003 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Leather (A5) Sedan

Pros: Luxury class interior that easily outshines Passat and equals BMW. Also love the 240 horses and transmission.

Cons: Fuse made me nervous, needs heated exterior mirrors, seat memory, one-touch sun roof

Advice: Get one, you won't regret it. This car has EMOTION to it as well as function and class. Not like previous Accords at all. Drive one and you'll see!

We have had our 03 EX V6 Accord since October 2002. I am still amazed at the quality and performance of this car every time I drive it. We did have one episode of the 5.0 amp interior light fuse blowing, but seems to be okay now. For road trips the car can't be beat. Quiet, smooth, confident in snow. We looked at Bimmer 3s, Camry, Passat, Altima, but none of those 'clicked' with us the way the Accord did. The simple things...the interior, the way the doors sound when they shut, the buttery smooth transmission, the 240 horses, the comforable seats (back and front) This car has it all and the price is amazing.

    2003 Honda Accord - 2.4 LX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: best overall value

Cons: totally love this car !

Advice: best value is the dx accord of any car in todays market

What can u say ,its a HONDA ! I drove the PASSAT,ALTIMA, CAMRY. The Passat is the best 2nd choice initially but german cars cost more in repairs as time goes on , people who love the Passat forget to mention that when they praise the car. Also re-sale value best in Accord and much easier to sell .Passat bought by a smaller group in re-sale therefore harder to sell ... Altima too edgy and too many gimmicks in style.Altima interior ,inferior to Accord .Toyota top heavy not a flat footed car drives like a boat ! Accord best handling car and great low in torque. At first thought Altima was the best looking mid-size car ,boy was i wrong . The Accord has clean lines that will stand up over time ,Altima teenage styling not a mature look to car ! Acoord is simply the best overall value in a mid-size car period !

    2003 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Leather (A5) Sedan

    Pros: Navigation System

Cons: The seatbelt hits the side too easily in the front seats

Advice: Drive it, you will LOVE IT!!

We just bought a brand-new 2003 Honda Accord EX V-6 with Satin Silver exterior, Ebony Interior. It is a great car. This is the funnest vehicle I have ever driven, I especially love the navigation system. If you are in Utah check out Larry H. Miller Honda in Murray and talk to Steve Wilson. He'll take care of you.

    2003 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX w/Leather (M5) Sedan

Pros: The interior of this vehicle has all the others beat.

Cons: The exterior styling could be a bit sportier.

Advice: Honda dealers will negotiate. You can buy below dealer invoice.

I test drove the Passat, Maxima, Altima, and Camry. They were all nice vehicles but none quite measured up to the Accord. The Accord cabin is nearly as quiet as the Camry, but the Accord does provide more road feel and emotion than the Toyotas. The V-6 is a tiger on the road and easily blows the Passat away with its acceleration, and interior fit and finish are up to Passat standards, at $2,000 less. It is nimbler than and as quick as the Maxima. It's not as sporty as the Altima but the Altima's ride is rougher and noiser, and its interior can't hold a candle to the Accord. Many of its competitors guzzle premium fuel and get lesser gas mileage. While lots of reviewers have dissed the styling of this car, I'd say it grows on you. The car has a distinguished look, muscular, angular, yet refined. It will do everything well, and you will drive around with a smile on your face. Other cars may turn more heads, but you'll be happy you bought this one.
