The Mazda CX-7 may be the peppiest crossover on this list. With a small turbocharged 2.3 liter engine and a quick shifting 6-speed automatic; the CX-7 is a real blast to drive. On the outside the Mazda has clean lines and stylish 18-inch wheels.

The Hyundai Veracruz is one of those Crossovers that flew under the radar when it was on the market. This vehicle came packed with a ton of standard features and amenities. Good Used Crossovers Under $15,000: Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

The Mitsubishi Outlander received a nice exterior update in 2010 making it one of the better looking crossovers on the road. Good Used Crossovers Under $15,000: Honda CR-V

The CR-V, like most Hondas, is one of the more popular used vehicles out there. If you are looking for one of the best all-around used crossovers then a Honda CR-V might just be the ticket. Good Used Crossovers Under $15,000: Ford Escape

The Escape has long been Ford’s foray into the small crossover segment. This vehicle recently went through a full redesign for the 2013 model year. But it’s the 2nd generation that makes a good choice for a used crossover under $15,000 thanks to its nice styling and small displacement engine which yields pretty good fuel economy figures for the Ford Escape.

Good Used Crossovers Under $15,000: Nissan Murano

Nissan seems to have a car for every segment out there. The Murano is Nissan’s entry into the mid-sized crossover segment. Redesigned from the ground up in 2009, the Nissan Murano sports a refined V-6 engine with 265 horsepower, a stylish interior with tons of features, and a more modern exterior.

Good Used Crossovers Under $15,000: Chevrolet Equinox

The Chevrolet Equinox is one of the more roomy used crossovers under $15,000. This automobile makes for a great road trip car. On the highway the Equinox has a nice ride and quite passenger cabin.  The look of the Chevrolet Equinox is similar to the larger Traverse from the same model year which is a good thing.

Good Used Crossovers Under $15,000: Volkswagen Tiguan

Want German luxury and craftsmanship without the steep price tag? Well the Volkswagen Tiguan is built on the same platform as the Audi Q3.
