    2001 GMC Yukon XL 1500 - SLT 4x4

Wonderful, reliable family truck. Capable of almost anything. Gets about 16 mpg, and expensive to run. Otherwise my preferred car for almost any occasion. I live in the desert, and it is always there. Fairly cheap to repair, I have had to replace the front leather driver's seat, and am on my second set of tires. But when I need to haul furniture, books, antiques, or almost anything to kids' homes or elsewhere, it's our go to vehicle. I love it.

    Pros: visibility

    Cons: fuel economy

Great car. Drives and rides like a car instead of a truck.

    2009 GMC Yukon XL 1500 - SLT2 w/4SB 4x4

    Pros: Durability and capacity

    Cons: Seat folding

    Advice: Buy it

Great car! I have 3 active boys and it fits all our hockey, ski, and their friends. We beat it up and it withstands all of our punishment. It already has 82,000 miles on it and we've replaced just the tires. I love it.

    2003 GMC Yukon XL 1500 - SLE 4x2

    Pros: rides smooth

    Cons: gas guzzler

    Advice: expensive to run

It is a gas guzzler. the heat in the rear takes a long time to warm up. I had it checked and they said there was nothing wrong. My side mirror heater had to be replaced after i year old. Otherwisa a very nice SUV

    2003 GMC Yukon XL 1500 - AWD

Pros: waiting on dealer service area....looking for 'trainned mechanics' break other parts...

Cons: loosing loots of money on my bad choice....

Advice: buy if you like to live on dealers service depto...

Great truck/SUV Quality is great, with feel problems that start after couple months, seat heater burn out 2x on both seats, steering horn contacts out, with couple miles . Service has been the big problem, techs don't have quality trainning, fix one thing breaks the other...Luck I have warranty, for a very expensive SUV,the defects are minimal, but very annoying GMC dealers they NEVER HAVE PARTS IN STOCK,so you loose days of work 1 first to find the problem take hours then another day to fix...BUY BMW ...

    2002 GMC Yukon XL 1500 - SLE 4x2

    Pros: large cargo area

Cons: no keypad door lock option . Also, one cannot open all doors when opening driver's door with key; you have to push the unlock button on the door armrest.

    Advice: gas mileage is poor

The ride was fairly car-like with not much bounce or sway as would be suspected. Braking appeared a little sluggish. Acceleration was fair. Rode very well on expressway. Leather seats comfortable with excellent low back support(adjustable) and decent side support.
