Pros: heated seats
Cons: Not enough front passenger leg room
Advice: shop around and look at other optionsNice quiet ride, has power. handles well on wet road surface. Looks nice. I feel it is generically put together by GM. My Envoy is in the shop more than it is at home! I had 3 man. defetcts before my first payment was due. My car has been in the shop a total of 9 times to date and is only 2 mos. old. This is a pricey car for the quality. I do not reccomend it to anyone. GM has no solution for my ongoing problem with my rear hatch. It is in the shop more than I have it! The rear hatch Has been repainted 4 times to date due to the defect with the rear glass on hatch. I hate this car!
Cons: rear leg room
Advice: experience the difference drive one then compare it to others in the classYou can difently tell the difference between the gmc and the same vehicle in chevrolet. GMC puts a liitle more refinement in there vehicles. I love the way the GMC drives compared to the other vehicles i tested it takes bumps more like a car than the ford explorer, the mercurey mountianeer or the montero sport. Also the GMC is very well equipped for the price
Pros: Heated Seats, DVD Player
Advice: NONEWow i didn't know that SUV's could be made this nice!
Pros: Smooth drive
Cons: 2-3 inches wider and then they can discontinue the Yukons!
Advice: Put it on your test drive shortlist!GM has a terrific offering in the 7 passenger SUV space. Checked out the competition and it beats them all in this class & price range. 7 passenger seating is much more comfortable than the MDX. The Sequoia is roomier but much bigger, gas hungry, less fun to drive, and much more expensive comparably equipped. The Explorer felt pedestrian in comparison. And as all the reviews say, the 4.2 inline 6 has all the power you need. I didn't miss a 5-speed transmission: at 70mph the top gear ratio runs the engine at a very quiet 2200 RPM, comparable to the 5th gear of the MDX & Explorer. Normal city driving (with some freeway driving thrown in) mileage has been a decent 17.5 mpg.
Pros: Where to start? I emagine it would be the in line 6 cylinder engine. It puts the competions 8 cylinders to shame.
Cons: No third row seating -yet!
Advice: Buy one!I have test drove almost every SUV on the market, and I feel as though the Envoy is by far the most impressive on the market. It has tons of power, the suspension is so smooth, and the handling is effortless! I love it!
Advice: this is a good vehiclevery smooth ride
