Pros: the handling
Cons: door lock on the arm rest
Advice: try both 4cyl. and 5 cyl. to see what suets you best
great power- even better handling-i can get 25 mpg if driven right-Pros: High Speed 4WD and XM Radio
Cons: General Ameritrac TR Tires -
Advice: Make sure you get options you want up front - dealer told me they can't add fog lights now
Purchased as a commuter vehicle for 100 mile daily winter commute on mountain two-lane roads. Has performed well, although I am not sure if I will keep original tires (General Ameritrac TR) - Will probably change to Goodyear Fortera HL's which greatly improved handling on our Ford Expedition.Pros: cd player
Cons: poor assembly quality and mr. goodwrench attitude and poor service
Advice: Don't buy it.
Driver information battery warning message comes on at temperatures below freezing. Makes you question if is truck is reliable enough to drive. Dealer reprogramed computer. No help. Attitude was GM knows about it and that was all that mattered. Wind noise through passenger door. Doors were misalligned by about 1/4'. Water leaks into driver side and onto carpeting. Puddles up to 1' deep at brake pedal. Front license plate holder floppy and nearly fell off. Front bumper mounting bolts loose. Right front of grill at headlight popped loose on bumpy pavement. Noisey muffler. No padding on door arm rest. Oil filter was seized up because no oil was put on gasket at engine assembly. List price $23,975.00.Pros: size
Cons: bumpier ride than I wanted
Advice: get a 5cyl and test drive different suspension models.
Rides rough but like a truck so I expected it. Motor has been plenty sufficient for my uses including light towing. Back end gets loose quick on wet surfaces, might be the tire tread pattern. Gas mileage has been 17-18+.Pros: the comfortable seating and just right for me size. Most trucks are too big.
Cons: I like it all....
Advice: take into consideration your children's growth. They get big faster than you think.
I thoroughly enjoy my 2004 Canyon Xtended Cab. It is the perfect size for me, and I pull a loaded 1700 lb trailer with ease. My husband however is 6'2' and doesn't have enough leg room for him (when he puts the seat back far enough, he gets leg cramps). Our son does get a little cramped in the back, as his legs are getting long( he's 16) but we didn't want to spend the money on a crew cab knowing he would be in college and gone in 2 years. Powerful engine, and great on gas, I love it!!! Highly recommended...I would live in it!Pros: Gas mileage
Cons: No sun roof available
Advice: Make sure you get the upgraded suspension
Drives great with plenty of room..Also the truck look great.Pros: the inline five-cylinder engine
Cons: the tire seem a bit cheap
Advice: it is the perfect size truck for most people
IT IS THE FIRST OF TWO NEW CARS I BOUGHT THIS YEAR. CONTRARY TO WHAT THE REVIEWS SAY IT HAS MORE POWER THAN MOST PEOPLE WILL NEED.the crew cab is definately the way to go, and the adjustable tailgate is very usefull. the styling is what did it for me that is why i chose it over the colorado, and as for towing most people who tow more than 4000 lbs will use a full size truck.
