Comfort and appearance great
Pros: Design of interior
Cons: engine quality
Love driving this vehicle, however, in shop a lot for mostly warranty work, Not thrilled with reliability of the vehicle. Shame.OK like to see improvements
Pros: Comfort of seats- ride
Cons: Acceleration- seems slugish esp. with air on. And a lttle noisy
Comfortable, a little noisy. ( Could be the tires) But overall hwy ride is good. Egine hesitates at acceleration. Esp. with air on. But overall it has been a good vehicle.largest suv ever owned
Pros: bose sound system
Cons: no chains available for 19' tires for snow & ice. Could not climb hill to house in mtns. of nc.
gas mileage 17- 19.2 average mpg best was 22.2 downhill from knoxville, tn to greenville, scPros: HUD
Cons: this is a government owned manufacturer and is union made.
Advice: be careful about the fed ownershiip of the company
very responsive and quick. good fuel economy.Pros: seat comfort
Cons: reliability and maintenance
Advice: Don't trust GMC
We have owned this vehicle since March 10th. It has been in the repair center 6 times since April 13th. I love the look and the comfort of the car as well as how the inside is designed. On the contrary, GMC as a whole has really dissappointed me. The car was taken in for a water leak 3 times then the headliner was damaged, the sunroofs both were damaged (by service dept) and the seatbelt has malfunction. I think the thing I am least happy about is that they boast mpg 19 city and 22 hwy. It now gets 14 all the time. I am VERY, VERY upset with the car. It is my very first - and quite possible ONLY GMC.Pros: looks and steering
Cons: not enough punch when step on gas, fuel economy not to good.
Advice: make sure you like alot of plastic.
drives and feels like a car.Turns excellent.Pros: My favorite feature is the feel of the smooth ride and drive and I love the heads up display.
Cons: Wish it had a little more storage space up front.
Advice: Drive several different types of vehicles before you try the Acadia
The 2007'Acadia drives and rides so smoothly for an suv, yet has the feeling of a luxury car. The design looks of it are also eye catching and have great appeal. We are two honda owners also, and the Acadia has the honda odessey van beat by a mile in looks, comfort and design. I have owned my Acadia for 5 weeks now and I absolutely love everything about it!!!
