Refreshed Exterior, 1.0L EcoBoost Three-Cylinder Lead The Changes
Ford has made the call to refresh the Focus for the 2015 model year and will be showing off the changes at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
Like the Fiesta and the Fusion, the 2015 Focus gets the Aston Martin-esq grille along with reshaped headlights, bumper, and hood. Everything else on the exterior appears to be the same. Inside, the Focus gets a redesigned center stack to make it more simple to operate. There's also new trim pieces and a redesigned glove box.
Under the hood, Ford's 1.0L EcoBoost three-cylinder becomes available as an option on the Focus. The engine produces 123 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. It will only be available with a six-speed manual transmission. The 2.0L four-cylinder will carryover and come mated to either a five-speed manual or six-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The 2015 Ford Focus arrives in showrooms in the second half of this year.
