    2002 Ford Thunderbird - Premium (110A)

    Pros: Peppy engine

    Cons: Not enough head room

Advice: Do not pay too much for this vehicle.

Very peppy! Not much room for my 6'2' frame as my head touches the roof. Classy exterior with outstanding worksmanship. Fun to drive and turns alot of heads!

    2002 Ford Thunderbird - Premium (110A)

    Pros: Style

    Cons: blindspots

Advice: Plan on buying this car as your toy (fun car)

First was not purchased for its ability to haul or perform functions as a daily driver. This is a weekender or just go for a fun drive. As for the Trunk it is non existence since have not taken the rack or boot cover out. Again this car was brought for the looks. About the only complaint is some blindspots. Out the sides and that the rearview mirror is too low. Don't expect alot of feature, geez only paid $40+ for thing. It's not the Lincoln LS sport that had before. They can say its based on the LS but the designers worked overtime to leave many features off. To sum up - Buy this car because you like the look. A second or 3rd car

    2002 Ford Thunderbird - Premium (110A)

    Pros: The port holes

    Cons: trunk

    Advice: Nice car to own

My husband and I test drive the thunderbird and really liked the way it handled. The only thing we were disappointed in was the trunk of the car. We both golf and found we won't beable to use our car for golfing as the truck is real small and can only handle a small canvas bag and maybe a few other small things. We otherwise love the car and are waiting for our delivery of our car in April of 2022. We are excited and hope we enjoy it as much as we think we will. Our children are grown and it is just for the two of us to enjoy. Looking forward to April and the good weather to cruise around in our new car. We picked the white one, but all the color are nice. We prefer white and think it will be easier to keep clean. That's about all.

    2002 Ford Thunderbird - Premium (110A)

Pros: The overall styling. Classic lines, retro features like the grill and porthole hardtop.

Cons: The interior is rather mundane compared to the high style exterior.

Advice: Order now and expect a long wait unless you're willing to pay a big premium.

Ford hasn't let anyone test drive this car yet (3/9/01). However, based on information about the Lincoln LS - which shares the same powertrain and platform - it should be a good performance, nice handling, smooth ride. The shortened chassis reportedly caused some rear-end stability problems, but Ford pushed back the Job1 date to 5/21/01 to remedy that. The real difficulty with this car will be finding a way to test drive before purchase. Most dealers are already overbooked and charging a hefty premium to would-be buyers. The best I can say is the clean, classic styling and Thunderbird heritage makes this a must-have for the enthusiast, and hope its drivability lives up to the reputation of the brand name.
