2015 Ford Mustang 50 Years Limited Edition Model Sent to Auction

Ford is auctioning off a very special 2015 Mustang later this month at the famed Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas. The model in question is the final Mustang 50 Years Limited Edition, the 1,964th model, to be exact.

The Mustang 50 Years Limited Edition takes a Mustang equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine and makes a number of visual changes, such as additional chrome exterior trim, louvered quarter windows, and special aluminum dashboard trim pieces. The 50 Years Limited Edition also comes with the Mustang GT's optional Performance Package, and is available in Kona Blue or Wimbledon White paint.

The lucky winner of the auction will also get a VIP package to the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The proceeds of the auction will go to the Henry Ford Health System's Heart and Vascular Institute.
