2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe

Pros: Power, dual exhaust note, heritage

Cons: Not too easy on gas or insurance, no go in snow, but worth it !

Advice: V8 with 5 speed is FUN, FUN, FUN! If you need a back seat, buy a minivan

I never gave a Ford Mustang much thought until I had an opportunity to test drive one. I considered more practical vehicles but kept coming back to the Mustang GT. This car puts the FUN back in driving. It has it all, power, thrust and a tremendous dual exhaust note (who needs a stereo). I find myself, and others, smiling a whole lot whenever driving this car. The V-8 and the manual transmission are a must. It can really get up and go, and yet it even sounds fast just cruisin through town at 25mph. The Mach 460 sound system with the in dash 6 cd is a nice feature. The 17' bullit style mag wheels really set off the retro/nolstalgic look of the car. Great bang for the buck, available for less than $20k with year end incentives.

    2003 Ford Mustang - Deluxe (110A) Coupe

Pros: The Pony Package and the Zinc yellow color.

Cons: Having to have the entire front end replaced AFTER ONLY 180..yes 180...miles. Was told defective parts

Advice: Looks more expensive than what it is. I would prefer the V8 if I could afford it. Check them out...great car overall.

Overall I enjoy the car and this is my second mustang. The Zinc Yellow Pony package stands out on the road and gets the looks. A little rough ride but not that bad.Accelerates good. Shifts smooth. After the front end had to be replaced after 180 miles it is now a quieter ride. Would like to hear from others if they had this same issue in their new 2003

2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe

    Pros: Thrust

Cons: When using a burnt cd, dont even think about having a homeade label. it will get stuck, and is even talked about in the manual.

Advice: Check with your insurance first.

''this review is after 7k miles'' Wow, what an amazing vehicle. Now this is no 80k jaguar, but its not supposed to be! i got my GT brand new for 20k. It is comfortable, FAST, head-turning, FUN, and upgradable! I got the Red-Fire which looks absolutly amazing. the MACH 460 sounds very very good, and the in dash 6 cd changer is very useful. You have to get manual, and if you dont....well.....pshh...anyway, all i can say is good things.

2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe

Pros: The Awesome Power and handling.

Cons: Lots of room in front seats, not much in back seats.

Advice: Don't buy the 6. Pay the extra money and get the 4.6 V8

I have had my 2003 Black Mustang for about 3 months..It is so Awesome.I have never been a big mustang fan until one day I was getting my oil changed and I thought I would just take a Mustang GT for a test drive. All I can say is that two days after..I was the proud owner of a new 03 Mustang GT.I have had many cars in my life and I will say it is the best and most fun to drive car I have ever had for the buck. My 11 year old son is in ' Hog Heaven '.. I don't know what else to say Except ' Just drive one.. ' Then you will know what I am talking about..

2003 Ford Mustang - GT Deluxe (170A) Convertible

Pros: The power of the V-8 in urban traffic.

Cons: Seeing who gets to drive, me, the wife or our boys!

Advice: Buy from a small town dealer, less hassle.

Call it a mid life crisis car...it sure is fun to drive, even with a family in tow. Now the argument is who gets to drive it, when! The look is great and the performance outstanding. It is a blast to drive and with the top down and the sun in your face and wind in your hair (even if it is showing shades of grey) it a car for all ages!

2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe

    Pros: POWER, SPEED.....

Cons: Is this a real question?

Advice: Don't think. It is a sports car. Your wife is not suppose to like it.

Everyone says the sound of the mustang GT V8 is why you should fall in love with this car. The sound is amazing. However, every bit of noise = POWER. This car gets out of it's own way. I never thought I would own a red sports car (3 small kids with #4 on the way). I now own the Tourch Red GT. Arrest Me Red? Arrest me, beat me with a night stick then through me in jail. For $25K you can not go wrong.

2003 Ford Mustang - SVT Coupe

Pros: Power and torque, 6-speed overdrive manual, power and torque.

Cons: Hard on gas, no sunroof or moonroof for coupe, no premium stereo with both cassette and CD, no heated seats or power passenger's side seat.

Advice: If going for a 2003 V8 sports car that has power and is good on gas, check the Corvette ZO6 instead!

I have thoroughly checked the SVT Mustang Cobra coupe and convertible. While they may have power and torque, they can be improved on gas mileage. It is by reducing one OHC and 16 valves. It has worked for GM! Also, the coupe needs a sunroof or moonroof. Both need a premium stereo with both cassette and CD. And they need heated seats and a power passenger's side seat. True, another positive feature for this is its 6-speed overdrive manual. However, for a 2003 V8 sports car, I have to recommend the Corvette ZO6 instead.
