Available to Buyers of 2013/2014 Focus ST and 2014 Fiesta ST
Shoppers considering the purchase of either a Focus or Fiesta ST now have an added incentive. Ford announced the opening of the ST Octane Academy, which provides owners a chance to experience the performance capabilities of their vehicles and improve their skills.
“We gave the all-new Fiesta ST the highest possible fun-to-drive factor. It’s fast, it handles brilliantly, but it won’t beat you up in daily driving. Add to that its affordability, and we think enthusiasts have reason to rejoice. It’s really that good,” said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president of global product development.
The academy will be located at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. Participants will start their day in the classroom, followed by time on the track learning car control, cornering, braking, and vehicle dynamic techniques from experts. You can also sign up for another day that gives you on-track instruction in a Mustang or off-road in an F-150 Raptor.
Participants will also get a tour of Hoonigan racing, the home base of Ken Block, along with a reception and dinner.
Ford says they will be releasing a schedule for the academy sometime later.
